Strange half that. Flat atmosphere, same with the performance. Hope sheafs not too bad

Lati has been ok I think, he's got the ball forward a few times. Eccles has been ok too. MVE and Saka have moved the ball well down the right

Would bring on Simms, Wright & Torp. Take off Godden, Palmer & Eccles. Just no creativity in midfield since Sheaf went off.

Why do we think we keep picking Godden then? I don't uderstand it, he never does anything. Same as everyone else, don't want to have a go at him but he shouldn't be first choice. We really need to bring Wright on and get something going up top. He won't do it at half time but maybe after 60. We miss Sheaf in the middle as well. We're still it though so let's just keep hoping.
We've had quite a lot of crosses going in that have been ineffective. We need a big presence up front at some point.

Think Allen would have been the better option than Latibeudiere. Dreadful all round team display. Godden has had no service again. Eccles has done some decent defensive work but his passing has been awful. Though same can be said of the team in general.
Surely cannot play worse than that so hopefully can get in front again second half.

Don’t know where this decent first 10 mins comes from. First 5 we hardly touched the ball, next 5 we touched it more, and actually got in their half once.

Latibeaudiere was the wrong sub, but I honestly don't think we've looked particularly worse as it happens. They were better than us first 10 as well.

Half the team look asleep and the whole game for us has felt like a friendly. Eccles gave the ball away after about one minute and it's been at the same pace ever since. It's so flat.
We'll have to agree to disagree, I think the majority will say we were better first 10, then dropped off since Sheaf went off. The only chance I remember them having first 10 was when Eccles passed it straight to their striker 20 yards out.

Strangely lethargic performance. We seem to have set up very defensively - Lati isn’t a midfielder and he struggles to track back - palmer and Godden anonymous

Honestly it’s like we are playing with 10 men. Godden just cannot cut it up front in this formation
It driving me mad, give Godden an excellent chance and the chances are he will put it away but zero and I mean zero creativity of his own or creation for others ... Or hold up play

We controlled the first 10 - sheaf replaced by Lati stifled us

Not sure why people think we were good in the first ten minutes. Think it's a bit of a placebo. We've looked crap all game and could have been 1 or 2 down before Sheaf went off injured. Don't agree with bringing on Latibeaudiere. He doesn't fill me with confidence in midfield.

In general there's too many lacklustre performances as it stands. We look disinterested for the most part. Need a kick up the arse at half time and I wouldn't wait too long to make a couple of changes. Would like to see Wright and Torp as a minimum.

Bringing everyone back for corners is daft for that very reason-clear the ball and it's coming right back at you. Torp needs bringing on at some point second half, Wright and Simms also.

Have to disagree on this one he's a decent player but no good tonight at all!
To be fair look at his career. Great skills but has been the perennial nearly man. Doesn't score or assist anywhere near as much as he should, but looks nice on the eye. Tons of natural ability, but not enough final product.

I would normally stick up for Godden if he’d done something, but agree he might as well not be on the pitch tonight, and Eccles is struggling massively without Sheaf. I thought Palmer had a decent half but final ball isn’t the best at times, although to be fair to him if Godden hadn’t stopped running to point where he wanted the ball he may have reached that last one before half time.

The right hand side looks threatening with Tats and MVE both looking up for crosses but with nobody in the box they turn and lose momentum.

We were better on first 10 whilst still not being great.

No one in midfield wants the ball to turn into risk areas.

It's 1-1 not end of world and we have good subs to come on. Let's keep the faith

Would like Simms on earlier than later though. Get on end of some of these Palmer through balls or mve crosses. He's due a goal

You can’t play through balls when your striker has the pace of a dead snail

It's almost as if following Goddens paddy over lack of game time Robin's has just gone "go on then, show me what you can do" but how long do you give it before the answer is "nothing"

I can understand not putting Torp on so early in the game with him being lacking in minutes but Allen should have got the nod ahead of Lati. Just bizarre.

If you are playing Godden, Palmer and COH up front, who don’t tackle back much, I guess Robins feels he has to have a defensive central midfield set up.

The answer isn’t to pick Godden and Palmer in the starting 11. Then you can play Allen or Torp in there.

We are lucky to be going in level, which is the only good thing i can say about this performance. Look very disjointed, getting squeezed fast so MR will need to earn his money to get pts from this one, as something needs to change .

We've got away with a bit of squad rotation so far. Now it's time to go for it.

Allen hasn't pulled up trees recently and we are under the cosh so maybe felt a more defensive player pushing Eccles up could be the way to go.

Thought Eccles was having a rare poor one to be honest rather than playing well.

He’s had some good defensive interventions but he’s probably just fatigued and could do with a rest.

For everyone who’s back Eccles to be a real Top 6 midfielder, the one thing he’s yet to prove (imo) is running a match in his own. No Hamer or Sheaf to dominate.

That his next area of progression as a footballer.

Let's be honest here: Asides from Tatsu's nice finish, we have been pretty crap. Bad thing is they have not been much better so if we turn it up just a tad, we can win this. Godden is once again the invisible man. I like the dude but he just does not have it right now at this level, please Simms or Wright needs to come on.

Hard watch right now and if Sheaf is out for a prolonged period of time, Torp along with others, are gonna have to fill the void.

Time to make another whiskey sour.

In this formation , the central lone striker is on a hiding to nothing, a thankless task, whether that be Simms or Godden.

Happy to go in all square at half time. Bristol are there for the taking but we need to get into 4th gear.
