I'm not sure I'm prepared for us to spend 7 million on a player.

I've become so used to no ambition and limited spending.

What are we meant to do? How do we act? How do we judge them?

Big statement of intent if this comes to fruition.

You cannot help but be overexcited for the season ahead.

LCB, AM, CF are the next three significant holes to fill, and we’ll still have 5 of the oft quoted 10 to go!

Bullying ???? Ffs, even mentioning someone's name is tantamount to bullying is it???
Worlds gone mad!! My kids come out with stupid stuff about bullying and I’m just glad I’m not of that generation. They have to think really carefully about not upsetting somebody every time they speak. Pffffff!!!

Milan van Ewijk seems on its way to the exit at SC Heerenveen. Chances are the right back will continue his career in England.

Coventry City is approaching an agreement with SC Heerenveen on a transfer from Van Ewijk, De Telegraaf reports based on English sources. The club from the Championship is willing to pay four million euros. In addition, SC Heerenveen can negotiate a considerable resale rate.
Van Ewijk himself has ears for an English adventure and so it seems a matter of time before the transfer is concluded. The 22-year-old defender made the switch from ADO Den Haag to SC Heerenveen in 2021.

WEDNESDAY 26 JULY

23:31 There is a good chance that Milan van Ewijk will continue his career in England. Coventry City is approaching an agreement with SC Heerenveen about a transfer of the lightning-fast right back, which itself has ears to an English adventure.

According to English sources, the Championship club is willing to pay 4 million euros for the former ADO Den Haag player. The Frisian club would negotiate a considerable resale percentage as part of the deal.

Van Ewijk (22) played in Feyenoord's youth, but only ended up in professional football via a detour (the amateurs of Excelsior Maassluis), where he has developed strongly in recent years as an offensive strong right-back.

Coventry reportedly wants to pay four million euros for the services of Van Ewijk, who himself has ears in the step. Last week, the English officially reported in Heerenveen for the first time. The opening bid was rejected, but it looks like both sides will agree with each other in the second bid. Sporting CP, Augsburg, RSC Anderlecht and FC Porto also showed interest in the fullback, but they fish behind the net. Heerenveen can expect a considerable resale rate in a deal with Coventry.

So Van Ewijk is very likely to enter the Championship. Coventry finished fifth last season and missed out on promotion to the Premier League. Feyenoord's youth product came via Excelsior Maassluis, ADO Den Haag and a rental period at SC Cambuur near Heerenveen. For the Frisians, Van Ewijk played 78 official games, scoring seven times and delivering four assists.

Heerenveen enters the market for a replacement upon a final departure of Van Ewijk. Feyenoord-back Denzel Hall was in the picture for that vacancy, but he seems to move to Fortuna Sittard.

Few million on a WB does seem unlikely but depends how much of the Vic money MR can spend and the back and forth if a few offers would explain why we’ve not brought a RWB in yet when we so desperately need one.

It was telling the other night when MR said he’s been in more Zoom calls to remember - there’s obviously been a lot of work put in to tempt foreign signings.

Should probably stop with the GIMOC stuff now, it's basically bullying and he hasn't been seen since mid July.
It wasn't bullying. He got called out for being ITK when a lot of what he posted didn't happen or was nonsense. There's been no evidence of the unrest he talked about. No evidence that DB is off.

And I called him out as he passed of some information I gave to 3 members privately, as information he had - as if he was in the know when in fact, that information came from me.

If you're going to post information on a forum and it turns out to be codswallop, you should expect to be called out on it.
