Been scattered around but thought I’d make a place for it all to go.

Given the chance/funds, which loanees would you bring back permanently?

Pretty sure Doyle will be playing in the Premier League next season. Undecided on Panzo but would be happy to see any of the others back.

Doyle would be a top 10 CB in the Championship next year but I doubt we can get him back

McNally has been excellent and should be our top priority in the next window

Panzo isn’t good enough

BNC isn’t likely to pull up trees, but given our lack of options at RWB we could do a lot worse than bring him back, given that he’s learning our system

Hard to justify bringing back JWE when we already have a good option at LWB and bigger holes elsewhere

All apart from Panzo for me.

McNally would defo be on my list, likewise Doyle but that’s not realistic.
Not sold on the others fully to be honest.

I agree, though maybe another year loan, hence the “given the chance” proviso.
Yeah a loan would surely be our only chance but it just doesn't seem to happen (consecutive season long loans at the same place). Im disappointed Panzo hasn't turned out to be as good as i hoped, can see him drifting down the pyramid if he doesn't find a bit more consistency soon

Voted for McNally and Doyle.

I could see BNC and JWE improving massively if we re-signed them. Gyokeres re-signing was a surprise and he ended up becoming our best player.

Yeah, BNC has really kicked on in recent weeks. Thought he did well yesterday and it was him who stepped it up and gave it a go end of first half that changed the momentum. Fair play for a young lad

You’ve just got to look at the trajectory of other young wingbacks on loan to the Championship, him and JWE will both look a lot better next season wherever they end up IMO.

Who’s the edge Lord who wouldn’t keep McNally? 🤣

also realistically other than Panzo he’s the only one you’d be able to sign on a permanent basis

Great if we can keep Doyle but I doubt it?

McNally for sure. BNC also for me, has really improved in the last few months, I thought he played well yesterday and can push on further.

Panzo hasn’t stepped up, so he can go. JWE hasn’t had as long a run as BNC so may be worth another punt if offered?

McNally and BNC for me.

Doyle not a realistic option and has obvious flaws to his game at the mo (granted he's still incredibly young and I get that he will likely go on to much bigger things than the aforementioned players). At the moment though McNally is the better centre back.

I'd have all of them back personally. Need some continuity in the squad with all the contacts up. All have shown quality at times.

I guess the least successful has been Panzo (yesterdays mistake was terrible) but I'd take him a as backup on a perm if he is free/cheap enough

BNC has really grown into a first choice. Was skeptical after the first month or so but he's really improved. Would love him back as I think he'll get better. Would imagine it would have to be a loan.

Doyle, class. Will get better. Not sure if City will loan him to us again though. They may want to test him elsewhere.

McNally. Would be my #1 target in the summer. Quality, will be unlikely to get a game at Burnley next year. I think we are in with a good shout.

JWE. I've seen enough of him to see his class. A full preseason without the shite we had to put up with this season could do him wonders. Get him in the Gym watching what BNC does (he is hench!) Bulk him up a little. Again I reckon he would have to be a loan

Just McNally and Doyle for me
Agreed.

BNC and JWE I'd consider for loan again, but not sure I'd be signing them permanently with a fee involved at this stage.

Could be short-sighted and they end up being worth millions, but I think it'd be a big risk right now.

Doyle would be the preferred, but realistically voted for McNally

Thought JWE was starting to look very good. Just unlucky that we needed the defensive qualities of Bidwell the last few games. Would take him again but doubt Man City would let us seen as he hasn’t played.

Would love us to sign BNC - developed so much in a short space of time. Quick and strong and works incredibly hard. Think he can push on further next year. Our best RWB out of the ones we have tried this year.

BNC has some potential, looks like rough diamond, the fact he's gone from strength to strength in every game makes you wonder how well he could be all season long.

Reminds me of Aaron Wan-Bisakka, great at defending but looks a little uncomfortable going forward...but every now and then will ride enough tackles and end up at the other end of the pitch.

I would have them all back. If Doyle wasn't so consistent, Panzo would have had more of a look in. I think he showed enough in the first half of the season to show he is very capable. McNally made a huge difference to our defence since coming. Very good in the air, which meant we didn't have to rely on McFadzean's prowess.
Norton-Cuffy improved game on game and seems a very grounded personality. Wilson-Esbrand showed that he could make a difference offensively. If we didn't run out of subs yesterday, I think he could have been a big threat to their tiring defence. Bidwell's lack of attacking ability (great defensively) was compensated for by Gyokeres' style. Without Gyokeres we will need more attacking endeavour from wingbacks, which will suit Godden and perhaps whoever comes in.

All of them if we could but unrealistic. Tbf our loans have generally been pretty decent even if not always here. Vik and Ostigard but add in Giles Maatsen sterling Walsh james and the current crop. Not sure if that's down to recruitment or Robins and Adi, probably a combination.

Yea, I never really liked loans as I felt they wouldn't be invested in the club. However that hasn't been the case since Robins came in. The loan players seem as dedicated and passionate as the permanent ones. Credit has to go to Robins and team for that and probably attitude background checks through recruitment.

I would take them all but unlikely we will get any of them. Rumour is Panzo is destined for Rangers. Prem clubs like to move their loans up the football ladder, possibly abroad. McInally is the only chance we have to sign especially as he looked poor in first half yesterday. Think Burnley may try to up the price which may mean he goes to a better club financially in the Championship.

Doyle has gone from bench in league 1 with Sunderland to a player on the brink of being ready for the Premiership, why would you not send him back to the club who changed his fortunes for the better?

BNC starting to look very decent where else would Arsenal send him given he was in and out at Rottherham early part of the season?

McNally tough and will depend on Burnely and if they have changed their mind on hi. After his showings for us.

JWE Where else would city send him? I think while they may have been a bit dissapointed he was not in the team more given it's his first loan I suspect they were realistic about his likely minutes. The journey he has been in recently will have matured him off the pitch and I suspect if he stays with a pre season he would get more game time.

I might be a little optimistic but moving a player where a loan is working well seems like a poor option.

Are there many examples of big clubs loaning out players to the same team in consecutive seasons? I can't think of many, which is why I'd be surprised if City loaned us Doyle again. I wouldn't be surprised if they loan him to play in Bundesliga next season.

I think it more likely we permanently sign McNally than loan him.

As we had Norton-Cuffy for only a half season there might be a chance he could come back.

I would be amazed if MR looked to bring Panzo back - there will be a lot of better options out there.

I would also be surprised if JWE were back. It looks like Da Silva is a possible signing so don't see where he would fit in, and certainly can't see Man City being happy with his lack of game time for us.

Doyle is a long term project for Man City he isn't going to be back in the championship and can see him abroad in a top division in Germany or France. I cant see why they would keep him at the same level he needs pushing on and testing before going back to try break into 1st team squads at Man City.

His contract will be a very lucrative one so even he doesn't make it in 1st team squads someone will have to pay a lot of money to secure his services.
