Main question are we allocated the Greenman pub !
Yep - if you get the west end of Wembley then you also get Green Man (and BoxPark!)

If you mean Luton , our last defeat in the league was 1-0 against Burnley in Feb , prior to that WBA in Jan.
Of course, on the last day of the Runty Druid's managership of us , he totally f***ed it up at Stoke , we lost 2-0 and it was dismal. Next morning he was sitting in his office in Southampton😡
How many fans will Luton be planning take and is it likely you'll sell-out the entire 36k allocation?

There’s surely got to be. Every season ticket holders got two by the looks of things, should still leave 10k. Must be releasing more blocks as well as there’s fuck all showing as available
I'm trying not to get spooked, but I imagine the absolute maximum we'd sell in the ST window would be 28k - we have 13.6k or so?

We took 40,000 to the Johnson Paint trophy final the season we got relegated to the conference. All 37,000 will go ( providing Ticketmaster don't sell em by the thousands to touts) and there'll probably be another 5-10,000 still wanting tickets. Luton Outlaws is in meltdown ( not difficult , touchy bunch) as I type.

That's a good effort! A question for anyone to answer, is it likely both teams will get more than the 37k allocation? I'm sure we took 40k against Exeter with an increased allocation.

I'll guess , once the tours get their allocation , then the hangers on, corporate types, we'll get maybe 27k each

Already seen a weirdly patronising tone from some about this game - heard someone else describe it as a “game for romantics”. The concept of two teams that haven’t been in the PL for 20+ years making a Wembley final seems to have broken Sky Sports’ brains. Fuck em.
To be fair, Mark Robins described as a “game for romantics” so the media are quoting that. In fairness, the narrative of the game will be a meteoric rise of two clubs who dropped to their lowest level fighting it out for a place in the top flight.

I jokingly said 'fuck Luton' on a thread yesterday, but I have a soft spot for Luton after having a memorable football manager save with them in the National League.

The last team I wanted to play was you. Those North East girlies have no bottle, and often field eleven dwarfs.
You'll see worse shit than that on Luton Outlaws, hostile place

We're a tight knit club, often come across as hostile. You'll see that on Outlaws , but other forums , the one I run for instance , welcome opposition views.

Funnily enough, my personal opinion was that I'd have preferred to have played Sunderland. I feel like we've had the beating of them in our last meetings. As for Luton, we haven't beaten you since 2017 at Kenilworth Road and I'm still a bit traumatised from that 5-0 loss.

That said, we've got a real belief about us and anything can happen in these games.

That was due to Exeter selling only around 20k tickets.
Luton will sell their allocation so there won’t be any extra tickets

It's really an ' on the day' thing. I was confident we could beat the Tees-Wear Academy for girls, but I ain't so confident about you. Boro were a walkover at Kenilworth road. We lost up there , but that was Rob Edwards first game as manager, and the Runty Druid had left us in all sorts of chaos

Providing Ticketmaster doesn't sell to touts, as they usually do , we'll sell all 37000 and probably look around for 5 or 10 thousand more. As I said in another post , the year we got relegated to the conference we took 40000 to the Johnson Paint trophy final against Scunthorpe

Yeah , you're best steering clear. As I run a forum I have to tread carefully on there. Not representative of fans attitudes. There all avid supporters , and I'll bet the majority of them will be at Wembley , but they truly put fanatic into fan

I'm feeling cool as you like over this. Reckon it could go either way but I think we have the quality to get us over the line.

Luton are a physical side, but so are we. It'll be a close call.

I'm old enough to remember Eric Morecambe being Luton Chairman. He did a sketch about Cleopatra with Glenda Jackson, and dressed as a Roman soldier. When he turned his banner round, instead of reading SPQR, it had LUTON in large letters. Brilliant comedy!

Hilarious. Met him once in the Eric Morecambe suite at Luton. He was still a joker , even off stage. We all idolise him.

After the ball being miles out and not seen by any of the officials yesterday, maybe VAR won't be so bad for it.
