we typically sit between 1600 and 1900 now every season and its been like that for a good while now , fans tend to look at us as a club that travel well now , that's a huge turnaround on years ago

We've been totally shafted this season with having the biggest allocations on a midweek. We'd have taken 3000+ to Wigan, Blackburn and Preston had they been on a Saturday.

That's an impressive showing from us considering most of the teams above us all have local rivals who will give them big allocations, something we don't have. And our biggest away following of the season is still to come.

I think it balances out generally , I think 3777 to blackpool compared to 1800 last season , and we play Middlesbrough last game away we will sell it out whereas last year we had them in January and took 1100

How does our away allocation stand with others in the league? Not looking to start a conspiracy, but I've always had the feeling we're quite generous in giving other clubs a decent allocation. Does that have any bearing on this?

Yes. Probably not sigificant over 23 games but it all counts.

Interesting that we have the 6th highest average, yet our highest away following is the 4th lowest !!

Take a look at our lowest average we are 3rd then look at Burnley’s Shef utd and brums highest plus all the other highest in the league and they are either local derbies or against Blackpool or both in fact look at blackpools highest

It's bound too. Anyone playing at our place could potentially have a following of 4,500. The only away grounds we could have a similar following as far as I know are Wigan and Blackburn, both of whom we play mid-week this season. A useful addition to the table would have been the number of sold out allocations.

If a team brings 4500 to us , that add 195 to their 23 match average

I think the table shows that as our highest away followings isn't that high and our lowest following isn't that low , that our core support is actually quite large and we take decent numbers everywhere now , rather than 3 or 4 games a season

The big allocations are to come. Blackpool, QPR, Blackburn and Wigan, although the last two are midweek which is a bummer.

We've only had one big allocation all season, and that was midweek at Preston.

I added the Blackpool game on and the 1030 we'd sold for Wigan(I appreciate we will take more than that )

Average is up to 1930 by next Saturday minimum

We should be 5th by next week

Blues have still to come to us though, so probably not for long. Relatively small allocations at our closest rivals doesn't help us. Not that its likely anytime soon but playing MK Dons again would change matters considerably!!

Quick question - didn’t we take 4000 to Huddersfield last week? That tables got our biggest away following as 2400 odd

I thinks our lowest attendance is impressive compared to other teams, shows we have a solid hard core of nearly 1k who do every game.

It will be close between us and blues , but I have a feeling we might just sneak above them even with their 4500 to us
