we didn't go far enough with the squad overhaul, the likes of Baker, McSheffrey & Bell, add nothing to the squad, literally nothing yet they are still hear picking up their pay for no effort. Put me in charge and I'll sort these jokers out. I've predicted this last couple of seasons almost perfectly. :p

Nail on the head - expectations were too high, and most teams take 2-3 seasons to get back up and over that time completely overhaul the squad.

Very disappointed with these newbies we've brought in thus far.

Seem to lack spirit, fight, bottle and determination.

Really seems like we brought in entirely the wrong sort of players for this league.

But can you blame us for having expectations when at every passing moment Fisher an Waggott are telling us we have a promotion budget

We have one of the highest budgets in the league at the moment. This will no doubt be slashed next season now though and those expecting promotion will be disappointed.

Yeah but the point is it took them 3 years and 3 different managers, not to mention a turnover of about 50-60 players, for them to get promoted. This league is no cakewalk.

Although this club is just rotten from top to bottom, could take a lot longer...and go a lot lower.

I really don't think the club will be able to survive that long...

I'd like to think that at this very minute, he's singing: "Woah, I'm livin' on The Edge!"

He is useless. Didnt he have a weeks trial and thorn still signed him. His eye for talent must have been closed the whole week. Actually must have been blindfolded since the embargo.

The problem with them quoting a 'promotion budget' and comparing us with Charlton's budget is that they totally rebuilt their squad over 3 seasons, they didn't have any overpaid hangers on, while ours still contains half a squad full players on championship level wages.

I don't know how you can blame McSheffrey, he's spent most of it on the bench and Bell hasn't even played!:facepalm:

And he resigned after 20 minutes.

Robins has been appointed as manager by the seems of it, published 1min before kick off in the dailymail.....

Not with these owners maybe, perhaps not in our present guise, but we won't die completely. It could be a bit like Oxford or even Wimbledon's journey, though.

Never has the term "not fit to wear the shirt" been more apt. These useless feckers need to do a real weeks works for a proper wage and see how they feel.

At the time we signed them I just didn't think they were the right types of players we should have been signing and got slated for it.

Exactly my point. Wheres the return for the outlay in wages? We knew about bells injury problems yet instead of letting his contract run out, we decided to offer him a 3 or 4 (cant remember) year contract extension.

Yes but even using the words promotion budget let you know about the boards aims and expectations, so you can't blame fans for having high expectations when these expectations are fuelled by the club

Shaw needs to have some balls and change this!

Make all three changes and embarrass these lot! A lot more than just three need embarrassing ATM (although they're are well into doing that themselves).

I hate to say it but I'd thrown Sheffers and Brown on (Edge on a booking and not having the best of games), and through Cody in aswell although he should already be starting IMO!

Ideally he'd have done this as soon as the second went in but as he hasn't half time seems suitable.

Robins, eh? Best of the three. If it was up to me then Carsley, Shaw and Oggy would be out of the door tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, it seems that Robins is stuck with them.

Gryphon Club? :p

Gryfindor? We could change sports all together! Stick on brooms and make them play quiditch!

But im afraid they'd probably be just as shit!

But on the bright side, the bludgers would be fantastic because every player would get a beating because our defence couldnt swing a bat at a ball even if it was right next to them lol

I reckon he should be put on the spot and ask what changes he would make....
