Dabo - 8 - brilliant defensively. Won pretty much every duel.
Rose - 5
Hyam - 5
Bidwell - 5
Kane - 5
Allen - 5
Hamer - 7
Sheaf - 5.5
O’Hare - 5 - most am’s in the league take one of the two good chances he had tonight)
Gyok - 6 - had to carve out a lot for himself.

Assume (hope) you’re still talking about Hamer and not Dabo. He was comfortably a 7.. if we win or get a draw he’d get a 7 without question there. It’s only because we lost it clouds judgement. He was a class above again and probably the only player on the pitch that can create that chance he did for O’Hare who took way too long and fluffed it.

Agreed. Thought him and Dabo did alright against their 2 danger men
A few players were really poor, but most were ok. Things didn't always come off for O'Hare, Hamer and Gyokeres but at least there was hope when they were involved.
Moore 6 (thought he could have been more decisive at times but don't really think he could have kept out both goals)
Kane 6 (a couple of decent interchanges and one good piece of cover play but otherwise mediocre)
Hyam 5 (2 good blocks, particularly the one in 1st half but totally bullied by Davis)
Rose 5 (some dire passes but did improve as game went on)
Bidwell 8 (another solid performance)
Dabo 8 motm (defended very well against a very good player)
Sheaf 6 (best hit shot from us. Some decent moments but generally quiet)
Hamer 5 (most ineffective game for a while. Nice pass to O'Hare though late on)
Allen 5 (passing not up to usual standard. Should have scored)
O'Hare 4 (one decent pass to Gyokeres but nearly every other time he lost the ball through bad control or passing. Should have scored at least 2)
Gyokeres 6 (held the ball up really well but thankless job when those around weren't able to make use of it. Missed good early chance)
Tavares 5 (doesn't look comfortable when the ball isn't played to feet. One nice piece of skill, which Maatsen squandered)
Maatsen 4 (looked disinterested to me. Didn't see anything constructive)
Howley 4 (looked really nervous and some poor first touches didn't help. He kept showing for the ball though)

Really? (I gave him MOTM in the last ratings thread btw so no vendetta)
Was at fault for our first when he could’ve just knocked out for a corner, passing was poor (he literally just panicked and booted it down the line to no one about 3-4 times) and the whole defence was run ragged by Davis, understandbly so - he looks a player.

We've played a lot lot worse than that but two mistakes from the centre backs didn't help our cause.
Ultimately we just do not have the squad depth of quality to sustain a push and losing a key player like McFadz at this point has been disastrous

Yeah think you must have watched a different game to me. Davis played off Hyam Mainly and Bidwell was tasked with Johnson and Spence and did very well

He and Johnson interchanged. Whole defence bar Dabo were poor tonight and Bidwell literally cost us the first goal with some comical defending.

O'Hare was poor but comparing him to other attacking midfielders who are on, in most cases 20-30k a week isn't worth doing. We know where he's at, and we know he doesn't score goals. Same with Allen. A goalscoring attacking midfielder is the aim in the summer but we won't be able to afford one.
