We looked very rusty first half, but Rose coming on and Dabo moving out to LWB helped, and Jones coming on at Right attacking midfield gave us the extra body in the middle that we were lacking before, from then on we looked the better team, and we didnt have anything to defend against.
Gyokres worked his socks off, Mcfadzeen was super fit to still look sharp at the death and grab the winner.
And Ohare is immense. PUSB.

O hare is the best player we’ve signed for years. He’s got energy in spades as well as trickery skill and an ability to win fouls.

Really pleased for Jodi. Glad he's got more minutes under his belt and looks to still have that explosive pace. Get a respectable LB or LWB behind him and I can see our left side getting us some deserved points this season.

Just about deserved that. Once rose completed the back line we were a different team. So please to see Jones on and O'Hare just has that bit of Grealish magic every so often. We did have to compete against the ref for a while and thought Forest were lucky on a couple of occasions. Great start and will mean a lot to the spirit of the side because I think Forest will be competing at the top 6 end. Can we?

It’s an odd position to play for him but he looked pretty good

First half we looked disjointed with Dacosta who was hopeless and Dabo out of position. I think Maatsen will get better. Hamer poor for the most part. Sheaf got a lot of unnecessary stick on here. Rose was superb, Moore was very assured and commanding. Jones looked lovely and sharp and Gyo kept going and got his rewards.
O’Hare clearly the best player on the park, oozes quality

Ben Sheaf nowhere near good enough, clearly we were obligated to buy him and we need to try get him into the team but... wow, worst player we have had at this level. What does he offer? slow.. only goes sideways, gives it away as much as he keeps it, can't tackle..

We are 3-4 players short and we will have a terrible season unless we improve the quality.

I wonder what Danny Thomas has to say about this

I have this to say:
1. It takes a special kind of twat to be only truly happy when we are losing to score political points - well done
2. Bed wetters writing the team off after 45 minutes of the new season - clowns
3. I was very happy to see JJ back on the pitch and looking very decent in an unfamiliar role - it was you wasn't it who suggested he didn't deserve a new contract wasn't it - twat
4. We are not the finished article but if we get 2-3 decent loans in - then there is plenty of hope
5. You must be upset by the win - the rest of us will enjoy it thanks - so take a few days off

pretty much the way I saw it. The stick Sheaf gets I don’t see. He’s the base fulcrum in the midfield and has good energy and distribution.

Walker will get zero credit but he’s a better compliment to one of the other forwards as he can move and pull defenders

Hamer I’m afraid was terrible and a shadow of the player I expected to see live

When he came on we had to start dominating as an attacking force and try and win the game.

I think with what he has been through he needs a good three months just coming off the bench.

Eldest keeps up her 100% record watching us. Youngest starts her own, despite being on her iPad all second half she’s come out absolutely buzzing and can’t wait to go back. Love watching new fans being made. By the time they realise we don’t always win they’ll be hooked mwahahahaha

that's interesting - thought you didn't want JJ to have a new contract?

That’s a very good summary.

can’t see dacosta ever starting again tbh unless we literally have nobody else to play. Hamer seemed very off, would look for more from him. O’Hare though, wow

love the way the players celebrated at the end, there is a serious togertherness there
