I thought we would get a real bashing today from a team if they don’t get promoted will have totally failed, how many 50k per week players did they have out there?

Hamer looked very good
Walker took his goal well

A mistake hasn't costed us, our inability to defend anything has cost us again. Gift teams 2+ goals a game and we're going to end up well adrift at the bottom.
Tbf marosi should of saved their 2nd, poor attempt.

Mcallum got beat all game all of there games came from his side or resulted in a corner or the pen that resulted in the goals.

Poor from Ohare with his ha ds up apart from that solid performance. Defence was pretty solid apart from the own goal.

We should be sitting comfortably in mid table but we're staring at the trap door because we can't take chances and the defence implodes like clockwork

This is the thing.
Everyone expected us to get beat & if they'd outclassed us, sure there would be the usual frothers, but most sane fans would realise the gulf in budgets & quality & understand.

This is why it's sooooo frustrating that actually we more than matched them but missed sitters again & gifted them all 3 goals.

Hope we’re fining the individual players for these fucking stupid mistakes. Never known a team shoot themselves in the foot so badly and so bloody often. It’s beyond ridiculous.

Trouble doing that is you put the strikers off even having a go in case they get fined and the defenders get jittery as they're even more worried about a mistake.

So removing a wing back which gives us 2 extra outlets going forward to replace and add an extra defender was more attacking? Can't say I agree
Pal, it's 89 mins. Wing backs go out the fucking window here and u go big with bapaga and o hare picking up loose balls.

Or you can put Allen on who's first touch sends the back to Highfield Road

Some thoughts:

We look so much better wirh o hare instead of Shipley

Biamou makes a front 2 work. Bad misses but his overall performances been good 2 games ina row for me

Sheaf and hamer are a great middle 2.

Giles needs to sort his fibal 3rd end product

Mcallum is simply v good and dependable even at rwb

Back 3 need to cut mistakes out. Time will tell of its lack of quality or not

Overall im nowhere near as down as ones a midweek. Performances are consistent now and we will beat Brum if we play like this. Obviously need to sort defence out but only 1 goal open play conceded tbf

We clearly got streetwise 2 out the last 3 seasons then didn't we
Why? Because we got promoted? That's bollocks.

We may have been promoted but we've never done the dark arts, we should have been a shoe in in League two and we outplayed teams last year, we're never going to do that at this level so if we can't work out how to do other things then we'll be straight back down.

When are we going to stop letting opposition players referee games. Cleverly was on to the ref all game and nobody got in his face and told him to shut the f*** up.
No wonder all the 5050 decisions go against us. FFS get streetwise.

If they are fully fit. What from little we have seen of Da costa he isn't

We needed to freshen up earlier and change the front line.

I dont know if we could have done much differently which would have altered the match...
I dont see the substitutions as being anywhere near responsible for that result or the outcome of the match

Three away games in a row we've lost in the last 10 minutes of the match.

What has Kelly done to have deserved being completely frozen out? Either that or he's not fit in which case why is he on the bench? If you don't want to bring him on to see out a 2-2 draw away at one of the top sides in the league then when are you ever going to use him?

This will be a long hard season but I think we're good enough to stay up and that's surely the objective. We are giving some of these teams a decent run, the break now will be good for us and we will start picking up points soon. Disappointing to concede another pen though, I guess the pressure causes mistakes.
