The piece on the city site is great. The making the word home be bold is a masterstroke

To be fair that was completely taking the piss and Salford overall have been cheating other clubs of promotion spots because of it

Why because they have rich owners? Accrington and Fleetwood would not be at this level without someone pumping in the cash as well.

I'm no fan of them either, grow the club organically or cap spending.

And what happens if the club gives refunds without the go ahead and Accrington then demand the money?

yeah the club *could* give fans money back and then recoup it when Stanley give the go ahead but surely it works better to have it all in place in a single go. The club were waiting for Accrington to give the go ahead, their MD has obviously just done that so we refunded.

Exactly.
I normally really like his attitude & speaks sense, including trying to assist with the Bury takeover etc but these last few weeks has really put me off him.

Obviously he has to put his business first but trying to force his agenda just because it suits his clubs needs & screw everyone else is a bit unsavoury.

Yep that's the same as me, he is really desperate for some reason to just end the season.

I wonder if he's worried about relegation.

No wonder he wants the season ending.

They have shit form in a relegation battle, a midfielder who has played most games is banned for 8 games and his top scorer was injured.

Didn't realise how bad their form was

So Accrington say their tickets are non refundable.

We said when ordering they were non refundable to our fans.

It's not really surprising the club wanted confirmation before handing money out?
