Not the best idea to block the road to force cov fans to walk into the flow of brum fans

Yes we had to walk miles to get back to the car with a 85 year old who could hardly walk.

Just arrested a man because he crossed the road... group of people just watching quietly away towards the city centre and the police are screaming in their faces.

I seriously doubt that is the reason. You don't know the full story

They were 2 separate incidents - should have been clearer.
The group I was referring was walking next to me all the way into the centre of the city, not sure what they could have possibly done to be screamed at?

This match was always a tinderbox situation and now we have round two in a couple of weeks, trouble is we’ve had a good run going over there for our “home” games happy and peaceful but this might be the sign of things to come for the rest of the season.

Absolutely no reason to think that. Against Blues, a bit of territorialism is understandable. But a total one (two) off. Apart from that, no logical reason to expect a repeat.

Police caused the issue but if you are going to kick off you are going to kick off no matter what. In Roost from half time with zulus all good.

Zulus kicking off near the Bull about 40 minutes ago. Rotten cunts looking for it and ran a load of teenagers down the road. Dead hard. Cunts.

Some slightly OTT comments on here...you'd think world war 3 was about to start reading through this thread
There was no trouble at all when I was walking back to the city centre through Digbeth

I didn't see any but plenty of other people have. I've seen a few things reported on here, on social media and in text.

But because you didn't see it...doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I was down near the Bulls Head/Kerryman at about 5.15 ish and there was a large mob of "zulus" giving it loads. Some Cov fans told them to fuck off and then there were shouts of "Zulu" and such as people ran off back toward New Street.

Fucking idiots.

Since deleted my tweet. 10 retweets and 15 likes from Blues fans. The ones that engaged seemed to think it was funny.

Saw (or heard really) a few handbags in Morrisons car park but it didn’t last long and sounded mainly like someone shouting leave it out. Certainly wasn’t a mob. Didn’t see any other bother at all, but then got taxi straight to ground and away afterwards.

Anyone else see the bloke lying out cold before the game between Roost and the ground? Lying in the middle if the road with Police looking after him? Some of his mates and Blues mob standindg off a bit further up?

Not nice at all.

Did hear about a cov fan in hospital after being hit outside the Roost.

Didn't think it was true. Awful if so.
