im going 25,500. I think a pod of the free tickets given won’t turn up. I’ve seen a couple of people trying to shift theirs online today. Still be great to have that many up the Ricoh.

The official attendance will be the actual amount sold/given away, not actual amount in stadium two completely different things!

Official recorded attendance = 28450
Actually in the ground = 22,000

They count season ticket holders wether they’re in the ground or not but sold tickets have to be scanned to be added to the total.

Attendance give: 28160

Actual attendance: 24420. 510 from Accrington.

If the attendance isn’t pushing 30k today then it invalidates any argument about ticket prices being too high.

To an extent, but if they did this ticket deal next home match, it would drop by half.

The people of Coventry love a one off big occasion.

You are right to an extent but there are a couple of variables that could still affect the gate. It is conceivable that every 'available' ticket is sold and yet the attendance will still not be 30,000, while it is also unclear how many of the free ticket holders will actually show up.

There isn't an argument. Ticket prices are too high, here and at other clubs too.
Ticket prices are too high in general I agree but people have argued that we need to lower prices to get more fans in. If they don’t turn up in numbers today then the login goes that lower prices will only result in lower revenue leaving us at a disadvantage.
