A decent footballer is a decent footballer at any level. At 19 he's just making his way in the game. Not all kids are at academies when they start out in the game for many many reasons. If Mowbray thinks he's good enough then get him onboard.

There are plenty of players who have come to this level from non league and are more than good enough. Give the kid a chance. I'm willing to bet none of you have seen him play, so not sure you're qualified to comment on whether he is good enough.

Jamie Vardy was playing at the same level a few years back with Stocksbridge Park Steels. Maybe he's not good enough either.
