Future of this Football club. (1 Viewer)

What I said about the club does not warrant the response. I wasn't insulting CCFC, only SISU and saying Wasps are looking after themselves. If anyone thinks there's something wrong with that and think they should hurl abuse at me, don't complain when you get it back.

I'm not begging for my account to be deleted. I'm asking as there's no option on my settings.
Behave yourself, you come on and start having a go at football fans. You come out with the football fan line and then wonder why you get a bit back. You start calling people cunts, what do you expect? I am hardly offended by it, just find it ironic you go on about neanderthals and football fans but then start calling people cunts like a true football fan would.

Of course Wasps are looking after themselves, nobody has said otherwise. People have issues with the way other people are helping them being looked after and the impact it has on the football club people have supported all their lives.

If you don't have any affiliation to any particular sports teams then it is up to you. Don't really be surprised when others do, or wonder why you would login to post on a football forum when you dont like football fans and make it quite clear? (and you have done in the past as well).

For example if Blaze were about to be made homeless, and somebody logged into a blaze forum to say they didnt like ice hockey fans and the new figure skating club that are taking over are much better anyway. I am pretty sure they would be a bit peeved?

The club isn't going out of existence any more than at any point of Sisu's ownership. We still exist at their behest and they've shown no sign of tiring of us.

"Football Club Fucks Up Business Plan" is not a national scandal. We chose to tell all our business partners that we wouldn't need them soon, then wondered why all this competition suddenly shows up. If you say to your landlord "I'm moving out soon" don't complain when you have to tidy up for viewers.

Even if you accept CCC, Wasps, the CET and Highs are the four horsemen of the CCFCpocolypse, it's Sisu's job to navigate those waters. You don't run around screaming "I'm leaving amd you're all bastards" before you've done as much as a badger check in a new site.

This academy situation and the Butts threat sound identical to the Northampton rouse before it. Only difference is they've learned to play the right angles to get some fans onside. Promise a local tight ground, threaten the academy. But where's the action? We should always be asking where's the action.

In my job, if I go to my line manager and say I have a problem, their first question is "what have you tried?". What answer have Sisu given us there?

We are going to have to pony up some cash or strike a deal, but either way the first question to be answered is "what's the plan?". And then fucking follow through. And if the plan involves partnerships, however short term, start working on bridge building, not burning.
There's our little council boy. For a time I did advocate some form of partnership with Wasps. I don't any longer, any partnership would be CCFC paying for the crumbs from Wasps' table. Fuck that.

Okay, fine. If the forums very own Admin are going to be a typical football c**t, I request my account gets deleted. Maybe one day football fans will evolve past the neanderthal stage, but I very much doubt it.
If only we could embrace franchises like Blaze and Wasps.

I'm 99% certain it won't die. It'll just change hands.
I agree, saying the club will be dissolved is pure project fear.

It is far more likely it will go out to administration to achieve the best price possible, (which won't be a lot & might involve more jam tomorrow than hard cash up front).

the thing is arvo have a charge of the clubs assets ,most.. players on 1 or 2 year contracts ..basically the only thing we have of value is the golden share ,and yes we may not be liquidated but we can look forward to the next milk advert

Can I just ask how long you have been a wasps supporter...and why you started supporting them
I think he likes Solihull Barons too, to be fair.

Has this little pucker deleted his account yet?

He's waiting to see if he can create a new one first and call himself Tim Colin or Mark and pretend he's been following the club since the war.

It's a pity the rugby season is over ... Pretty sure the only way to sort this is huge negative publicity for wasps ... Protests outside the ground protests inside the ground... Going on other rugby clubs forums and spreading the word...sod the sisu out banners ... Let's start with wasps out banners

.... and then what ?
We need the club to come up with an achievable plan and then work to it.
I'm clueless what are club actually want. Butts, New Stadium, Ricoh, New academy, Stay at Higgs, Move the first team there as well, 17 point plan to stay renting at Ricoh, Court cases to achieve what for the club ?
If there is a plan then we as fans can help it get implemented. Getting rid of Wasps is not an achievable plan.

Cool, so your plan is to do without Wasps. Still going to need Sisu to pull their finger out. Or are you going to protest the Earlsdon Crown Green Bowls Club if they don't offer us Spencer Park for training?

Put the insults down for a second and try to defend your viewpoint. You agree with Sisu that we don't need to work with any partners and can go off on our own, what next? No room for an academy at the Butts. Where should we build it that won't require support from anyone else?

You don't run an organisation the size of CCFC without support from local partners. Surely that's obvious.

Fucking morons on this site. Just piss and moan again, call some strangers names. I'm sure it'll make it all better.

Don't you get it Italia ?

CCFC should just be given anything they ask for or you're DESTROYING OUR CLUB.

We have no responsibilities, just rights.

Would say entrenched, blinkered views anyway that will surely prevent us moving forwards as a club.

If we say we shouldn't ever work with Wasps at all, then that is just as bad as the NOPM until Sisu leave.

It is what it is and we have to do what is best to ensure the future of this club. People may not want to work with Wasps, but it may just be that we have to.

All options should remain open (Ricoh, Butts, new stadium) and we shouldn't be burning bridges.

If it HAS to be Wasps and the Ricoh for the foreseeable future then so be it. We should all want what is best for the football team we love and refusing to work with Wasps could force us out of the city ground-sharing again god knows how many miles away.

What if it is Wasps refusing to work with CCFC?

Well then of course that is out of our hands.

Thing is, Nick, we have some on here who just seemingly want to see Wasps destroyed. The position we are in at the moment we can't afford to do that.

I see no problem in working with Wasps now, but with an ultimate aim to at some point in the future get the Ricoh back (not that we ever had it in the first place).

Just think there is too much blinkered thinking on here, too much hate and dislike and an unwillingness to budge.

if sisu gave us success on the pitch why would we wanna see the back of them?

this is why council have stepped up their mission to kill ccfc. they know if cov get promoted and then challenge for promotion to prem that people will not hate sisu as much anymore

They want out, cc4l. They want to see a return on their investment. If we are successful and went up to the Championship that is worth a fair bit of money. Premier League, obviously multiple millions.

I dislike Sisu, but know we have to work with them because they own us. That means my supporting the players out on the pitch and hoping a degree of success for us will see the back of them.
I agree with you entirely Otis, I used to be very anti SISU but I've changed my mind to what you say.
I don't think I will be anything but anti council/wasps though, my dislike goes far too deep.
Get behind the boys on the pitch, they represent my team and this season I'm 110% behind them and the manager.
It's got to be hard for Mowbray and Venus to work in such a volatile circumstances, I bet they can't wait for this to be sorted.

what makes you think they want out?

and if they do why would council stop ccfc being successfull and slow down their exit? because they are happy to KILL ccfc

If the council can rid CCFC of SISU I for one willl applaud them , this needs
to be bought to a conclusion, they've successfully got the fanbase blaming
everyone else, even each other ffs.
If someone doesn't take the fight to SISU, we will just carry on getting smaller
and smaller until we eventually disappear.

The council shouldn't be applauded for anything. It was them of course that had a hand in bringing these hedge fund cretins here in the first place. Then unbelievably sold our stadium to a different one.
You couldn't make this shit up tbh.

But I don't think anybody is saying or acting like they want Wasps to go bust and are happy to take CCFC with them.

For example if it was go bust or rent from Wasps I don't think many would choose bust would they?

The bleak reality is that the club will probably bump along in a deteriorating cycle, but not disappear. However, the biggest loss is the value of CCFC to the city and our culture - the football team impacted on the workplaces, schools, etc. So many of us were brought up with pride and passion for our team. The past years have negatively affected us with nothing but legal squabbles, posturing and public arguments - we used to talk about our team! Now we're reduced to citing legal rulings and slagging other supporters off.
This is like year zero. No ground, in the future no academy.....and if it keeps going even less supporters. The name may remain, but in all the squabbles the potential for success has been squandered.

Wasps don't want to work with us. They have this madcap scheme to make this a rugby dominated city.

The promo video - which mentions the rugby league team alongside wasps - makes this obvious.

What's your plan for working with Wasps? Do tell and clearly outline the costs and benefits of doing so.
