How do you bet? (1 Viewer)

It is sort of CCFC related as I bet on them! Happy to move it if people disagree!

What do you use? I use betfred at the min but it's a pain because I can't bet on my phone. I don't know whether that's a good thing.

There are all the things like Betfair where you can cash out but I dont really get it!

Ideally just want to bet on my phone easier if I forget :)

I use Skybet - Easy to follow the cash out, Easy coupons and do great sky bet price boosts.

There trebles are also good they offer. For example this week Leicester,Chelsea & Stoke all to win 8/1

Also if you bet £25.00 in a week you get a free bet for the following week

I use William Hill app , I limit myself to one 6 fold of £2 a week (with them if one let you down get the £2 as a free bet which has happened at least a dozen times this season) usually get returns of £120-£200 if my 6 come in nothing life changing but would be a nice little bonus to
The weekend.
Then maybe odd £1 on a City score if I get an inkling.

So basically bet the price of a pint a week suits me.

William hills don't know why I do just do, I don't gave phone betting as it is a company mobile and also I can't be trusted as I am not great at it just look at the prediction table.

Had a nice win on Bailly Cargill to score anytime at 12-1 against bury and tend to have a defender to score anytime most weeks

I don't understand cashing out and laying results so I do simple and rare bets. I basically registered on every site for the signup bonuses, but luckily new ones keep popping up, which should see me right for my losing Euro 2016 bets.

I don't bet. Mugs game, but that's just my opinion. If people want to throw away money that's fine. The only "gambling" I do is £10 once a month on the postcode lottery and that's the missus' money, oh, and a fiver each year on the Grand National. I once lost a weeks wages on the turn of a card way back in the early 70's and vowed never to bet again! That taught me a lesson! ;)

I might have a look :) got an app too?

Yes the App is brilliant.

For example on the cash out bit, if you have both teams to score it mark the winning bet with a tick at highlighted green

If your bet is losing in play it is marked red - Its very user friendly.

Think new customers get £20.00 free bet if you register and deposit £5.00 too.

This sounds more like an addiction than a habit. It will just eat all your money. Stop now before it ruins you!!

Unless you win big, then you can buy us all a drink... ;)

I used to use Sky Bet but have moved to Bet365 over the past 6 months and the odds are far better, as is the cash out option and visibility of in play stats.

Cash out often works out to be a horrible invention (obviously good when it pays off through!) there's a great app to download from the App Store 'SBAT' is brilliant for doing your research.

I use Paddy Power on the iPhone/iPad. Decent app on both.

I normally do two accas each weekend...one of about 4-6 teams which are 'bankers' and one where I place a lower amount of money on about 6-9 teams where the odds would invariably been higher. Win about once a month.

I won last weekend on the smaller acca...£85 back from £5, 5 teams. On the other one, I had 9 teams, £3...8 teams won and Bradford drew 2-2...had they scored I would've won an extra £255 on top of the £85 I won!

I only limit myself to £10 a week...not big by any means...just makes Saturdays a little more interesting and I can control it so I don't get in a HouchenHeads 70's situation! I know my limits!

WM

PS. I rarely, rarely put Cov in my accas. First rule of accas...never bet on your own team!

I use Bet365. Offers aren't that great but it's easy to use and has so many markets for each game. Don't tend to bet on league one at all

Don't bet too often but when I do it's BET365.

Might have a look at bet365 as it seems a popular place to lose money and also help Stoke City to buy new players

It's not proper betting but I've started playing Draft Kings and that's really fun. And you don't even have to deposit money to play in some of the bigger leagues.

The best bookie for anyone in the UK is Bet365, just for the amount of games and sports the site provides inplay any serious gambler will tell you that. If you bet mainly just mainstream English football use oddschecker and find the value and have money in multiple accounts, it will help you make more money than just betting lazy. If you have had 365 accounts limited like myself and don't have any other sites to place Asian handicaps on etc use BetVictor, PaddyPower and Marathon.

Skybet is also a good bookie and good value can be found on Betfair exchange.

One thing I will say also is don't cash out bets as long term you will not profit as much as you should hence the reason Mr Winston and co plug cashing out to the mass market, as in affect you are betting against yourself and the bookies make millions of failed cashouts a year. Also I would advise to never withdraw your money as this helps in building your role, depositing £20 a weekend and withdrawing if you win a £120 accy every 2 months will not make you profit, build a steady role and adjust your stake size on your bets accordingly and finally don't bet when you're bored or drinking you will take bets that have no value or edge against the bookmakers and will only lose.

Goodluck guys

I just want to bet on one of our centre halves for £1 every week, or a 50p on a 5-0 win. Nothing serious :)

I only bet in high street betting offices and never on a card ..but find it really hard sometimes to get bets accepted if you want to put a decent amount on.. a long time ago my wife was a betting shop manager and they were never really scared to lay a bet up to a couple of thousand but sometimes I struggle to get a bet of £200 on... but they are quite happy to let mug punters play the roulette machines at £100 a spin

One of the best things I've done myself is to take my gambling serious as its changed my life for the better, however if you're looking to do as you say I would recommend Paddy Power Nick as they are miles off in terms of research than most English bookmakers, Danny Swanson and Jack Finch pop up most weeks on there first goalscorer bets for us, which just highlights how clueless they are and there 100% value to be found betting with them.

they still have more chance of scoring than fortune

I once bet on us to lose 2-1 (correct score) away at QPR in Jan 2011 at the bookies in the ground. Sure enough we lost 2-1 and I was the only bloke queuing up to collect winnings, the guy thought I was absolutely crazy to be betting against my own team.

Still, £50 says I’m not crazy.
