Xbox controller instead of a mouse (1 Viewer)

Have any of you done it? I'm a 3D designer and clicking the mouse all day is giving me loads of pain in one finger. So I'm looking for good alternatives and thought a games controller might do nicely.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Never tried it for design. can see it being a pain.

Cant you get a different shaped mouse thats more comfy?

It's the constant clicking that's doing the damage so I want to eliminate using that finger all together.

Should be able to get some sort of mapping software so you can re-map the buttons.

Or if there are any drivers for it.

Think I may ask the IT guy when he's in at 9. He'll start jizzing when he sees the LEDS on it anyway.
