Hi don't want to sound cheeky but was wondering if anyone knew of anyone that would be willing to sponsor a local football team, I have recently just took over coventry amatuers fc who were formerly known as coventry sporting and did not want them just disappearing again. We play at massey ferguson sports ground and have got a few young lads that are cov fans myself included but for obvious reasons dont get up much and we play on Saturday afternoons.thanks for taking the time to read cheers peter

I had no idea Coventry Sporting had changed name. Any particular reason it was done?

They were amateurs when they first started out went to sporting and when my brother in law restarted it as his grandad was one of the main ones that started the team he decided to go back to amateurs hope that helps
