Scrapbooks and Annuals (1 Viewer)

Any fans on here used to collect football annuals and put pictures in scrapbooks ?
As kids we used to fill autograph books,get books for Christmas,and swap cards etc.
Do kids still have that excitement and enjoyment now or is it all on computers ?
My two sons weren't as mad keen on collecting football stuff like I was when they were kids.

Otis I bet you're like me and keep hold of your vinyl records ? I just can't get rid of mine just like I've kept a few dozen annuals !

Well, when I say all, I did in fact sell over 700 of them a year or two back. Still have about 500 left.

Many of them were pretty worthless to be honest.

A few were worth quite a bit, but a lot were ones I didn't want anyway andI got peanuts for them.

I've been tempted to flog some but never get round to it. I love vinyl though it's got class even when they scratch and jump. My son once said to me why do I keep old football books ? I replied :"Why not ?" Conversation over !
