You know UEFA's strict rules on not allowing two clubs with the same owners into it's competitions? That rule doesn't appear to be in force if the owner has an annual turnover of €5.1bn. Is anyone surprised?

Are they using a loophole or anything?

I don't think there is one. UEFA just make the rules up as they go along. Can think of a few other administrators involved in football like that.

I can't see what the issue is Man City own three or four clubs in the world, if the two red bull sides played only one can win also don't the family that own Watford own a few clubs.

Think they need to scrap that rule and make it so they cannot own 2 teams in the same country.

I think this is the first example where the two teams may compete in the same competition.
