With regards to trump, I don't necessarily disagree with what he is doing in terms of a tougher approach towards North Korea, we have (NATO, the UN and America etc) tried negotiation, diplomacy and squeezing them economically and look where it has got us, they have still managed to improve their ballistic missiles and possibly have the capability of a nuclear missile.
It's time to crack down on them, and stop being soft.

While most of the US is concentrating on a huge hurricane that's about to hit Trump has given a presidential pardon to Joe Arpaio.
If you don't know who that is he was Sheriff of Arizona who implemented the anti illegal immigrant law which was later reversed by the Supreme Court.
He was also investigated by the Department of Justise who concluded he had overseen the worst racial profiling in US history.
Another case concluded he was unfairly targeting Mexicans in traffic stops.
He conducted an investigation into Obama insisting his birth certificate was forged.
Other 'highlights' include cases against him for:
Abuse of power
Unlawful use of immigration laws
Violation of election law
Failure to investigate sex crimes
Misuse of funds
He was issued an injunction to prevent him carrying out illegal immigration round-ups.
That was ignored and he was found to be detaining minorities without anything to suggest a crime had taken place. He was convicted for deliberately ignoring the injunction.
Of course Trump isn't a lunatic racist, it's just people trying to make him look bad.

The problem with you guys is you believe everything the newspapers say. The newspapers are 90% liberal and they all hate Trump because he threatens the establishment. You aren't going to hear about any of the good things Trump is doing, you'll only hear about the bad things. And if there aren't any bad things, they'll make the good things sound like bad things.

If you are going to comment about something you know little about, at least get your facts straight.
Arpaio was not 'Sheriff of Arizona'. There is no such title. He was Sheriff of Maricopa County, which is one of many counties in Arizona.
As Sheriff he would not implement any laws, that would be done by the State Legislature.
He would be responsible for enforcing the law as would any law enforcement agency.
Previous administrations had chosen not to enforce the law. Was that a good thing?
Illegal immigration has always been against the law of the United States.
That said, however, I don't believe the US President should have the power to pardon criminals. It's a misuse of power in my opinion.

you're dealing with the poster who's first reaction to the Manchester bombings was to mock the victims - horrible piece of work.
So he was an Arizona sheriff who was rightfully convicted of racial profiling and abuse of people in his custody. And Trump pardoned him. What signal does that give to minorities and to Nazis?

He ran a jail that he described as a "concentration camp.
Prisoners there died at an alarming rate, often without explanation.
One of his jailers nearly broke the neck of a paraplegic guy who had the temerity to ask for a catheter.
One time, as a publicity stunt, he marched Latino prisoners into a segregated area with electric fencing.
Here's a couple of other examples of what went on in his jails:

He ran an ongoing "mugshot of the day" contest on the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office website.

Under him, the MCSO failed to investigate hundreds of sex abuse cases, many of which involved children.
But he somehow found time and money to send a deputy to Hawaii to look for Barack Obama's birth certificate.
Oh, and one time he staged an assassination attempt against himself? That was weird.
In 2013, a federal judge confirmed what literally everyone in Phoenix knew: he'd been racially profiling Latinos.
So naturally, he hired a PI to investigate the judge and his wife.
He also kept on profiling people, which is why he got charged with contempt of court (and was found to be guilty AF)
He also tried to destroy some of the hard drives containing material that was supposed to be turned over the court.
By 2015, his fondness for racial profiling had cost the county more $44 million. On top of, you know, ruining lives.
He also paid millions to settle lawsuits like this one, where deputies stood by as an inmate was brutally beaten.
Because this is the Old West or something, he had a "Sheriff's Posse." One member got arrested on child porn charges
His office was responsible for countless fiascos like this botched SWAT raid, where deputies set a puppy on fire.
So, yeah, that's who Trump just pardoned.

It doesn't matter how badly or downright stupid things are panning out.. they will resolutely back Trump ( or in the U.K. , Brexit )... Frightening...
