Five Youngsters Leaving

Coventry City have released five Academy players.

Goalkeeper Shane Fagan, defenders Joe Pegg, Alex Donald and Ricky Fletcher along with midfielder Jemal Wiseman have all been released and have been having trials with other clubs.

Ben Maund, Leon Lobjoit, Louis Garner and Lewis Rankin have all been offered professional deals but are currently being delayed by City's off the field problems including a transfer embargo before they can put pen to paper.

Wouldn't be surprised if Leon is snapped up by another club while our embargo no doubt last well into next season

Wiseman is the lad we got from Arsenal isn't he?

Thought they had quite high hopes for him. Oh well.

Thought Garner looked good in preseason expected to see him on the bench a few times to be honest

Another example of Fisher and Waggott not able to run a football club, they knew the embargo was going to happen so why didn't they put those youngsters on a contract before the embargo came in especially Leon Lobjoit, who will be sought after. They keep telling us youth is the key.
