Always like the start to Riders On The Storm by the Doors. And the intro to You Really Got Me by the Kinks.
Sometimes the start to a track is the best thing to a song.

Saw Big Country twice at the Hummingbird club in Brum. Great live band. Was shocked at Adamson's death.

It's always sad when someone feels so desperate that suicide seems like the answer.

I never knew he was in turmoil as he looked a together sort of bloke.Read he had a drink problem but had been sober for years, but had started drinking again.
A mate of mine died in similar circumstances a year ago so know what a bad addiction alcoholism is.

Always a big regret of mine I never got to see them live. Remember seeing footage of a gig they did (Glasgow Barrowlands I think) and the crowd going mental when In a big country started, looked a great gig.

As for the op, I would go for Lost Patrol by said band. Special mentions too for Shine on/House of Love, Love song/Simple Minds and Sir Duke/Stevie Wonder.
