Reading some of the threads you would only think we had problems which of course we certainly have but it might come as a surprise to know that 59 clubs have experienced administration over the years and the fans went through much the same as ourselves some worse some not so bad but they all survived bar 2 or 3

Also heard on the radio the other day that absolutely loads of clubs enter transfer embargo's but never tell the fans about it. Apparently it happens all the time.

Also, players failing drugs tests and then getting 'injured in training' and out for 2 months - think that was on that channel 4 documentary a while back.

Dunno what any of that has to do with this thread but you know, still interesting how little we know about our national game these days.

One team that went out of business but is now back in the football league after 40+ years is Accrington Stanley. I'm very happy for them because my late Grandad played for them as well as Burnley.

Notts County managed to go into admin in June 2002 but left admin in December 1993 - that's a feat!
Quite a few went out of the league and so far have not come back or were reformed, at a quick glance - Newport, Halifax, Chester, Maidstone, Aldershot, Darlington, Boston United, Rushden
