New to Sky Blues Talk
Morning All,
New to Sky Blues Talk.
My family is from warwickshire but moved to Cambridge when i was born. Dad only ever allowed me to watch City and would only take me To Highfield Rd or away days so whilst all my mates were united, arsenal or chelsea fans i supported the mighty sky blues. Must of gone to my first game at highfield road when i was 6 or 7 in the mid 90's and loved it!
Used to go weekly to watch Cov but with work and the cost involved we struggle to go to more than 15 games a season in the last two years. But we go when we can!
Since then, as many of my generation of Coventry fans, i've gone through no cup wins, no promotions, no success, a relegation, a new stadium move (would go back to Highfield RD anyday) and a host of shocking managers and owners.
And why am i still a Cov fan?
because my family brought me up and my dad refused to allow me to support anyone else as it was family tradition - and i wouldn't change it for the world!
