What harm can it do though? Otherwise it comes across a bit as
"You don't do things I want!"
"What do you want?"
"I'm not telling you cos you should know!"
And both those alternatives would have very different responses. One would steadfastly oppose, the other would jump in with the US so enthusiastically it'd make Starmer look he's giving strong opposition to the US.
It's when the 'due process' gets down to things like paperwork filled in slightly incorrectly or not on time or slight procedural anomalies.
Being let off for the worst crimes imaginable is acceptable because the real unforgivable crime is someone not double stamping the right document...
I had to do stuff like the washing and drying up, cleaning my room or just general vacuuming and dusting around the house, and when a little bit older the washing etc. I didn't get pocket money for it - it was just expected. Didn't get anything for getting good grades at school or any other...
Heard an interesting thought the other day. The idea that we need to expose kids to the way tax works at a younger age.
Basically if you give them pocket money, you say if they give up part of it, in exchange they get stuff like their room cleaned. If they don't they have to do all that stuff...
