Seems they don’t like „cobs“ being called batches. Plus I’ve heard that a few Villa fans might want to support Cov on the day.

well would you believe it? Germans very happy, although it remains to be seen if it is just nice words. I think he wants to build SUVs. Greens not to keen on that. The government will have to increase renewables if their CO2 aims are to be met as E cars need a lot of electricity. Greens want...

I heard that hydrogen fuel cells take up more space and require 3KW of power to generate 1KW of fuel. More likely to be used in buses and maybe aircraft.

You miss out the loss of territory - which will never come back. The post war hardship. The 40 odd Years of communism in East Germany. I wouldn’t recommend following a right wing populist, wrecking the country and killing millions in order to be better off in 50 years time. Too risky.

not new, but this is particularly absurd and so he obviously has a card to draw out at the end. Probably a quote by someone from labour.

wTF? I’ve missed Grendel’s madness. He is going over the top. The West paid to upgrade the East. It’s still paying. I don’t know what that has to do with Hitler. The East was poorer and more rural before the war and will probably always be poorer because it doesn’t have the industrial capacity...

no. Lost part of its country for ever. Millions of lives lost. Cities destroyed. Cultural heritage partly destroyed. Apart from the deaths: the maiming, the imprisonments, the financial losses, the General misery of lack of food, heating, medicine etc. There is no justification for hard right...

My general observation on Brexit evolution is that Brexiters are no longer trying to sell the benefits of being a distressed trading partner, they’ve seen that that is probably the end result followed by years of extremely difficult trade negotiations, the main argument now for Brexit is we...

apart from anything else, the Trend will be that their countries get richer and they return home. In the 90s we had loads of UK and Irish building workers. Over 400 Irish pubs in Germany. The place was buzzing with Brits. UK recovered and most went home. ( no one complained about FOM then ).Will...

Anyway, I enjoyed myself at the march in October. Went with my daughter and met up with some nice remainers. Passed a few nasty hate filled leavers in Wetherspoons. ( not typical of leavers ).A woman holding a Union flag was saying „push ‚em out if they try to get in“. Needless to say no...

How do you know if and why he voted remain? Saying that he did only because it’s easier shows how little thought you put into the decision. Most remainers don’t claim to have voted for remain because it is easier. It makes more sense to vote remain as we keep all benefits. Leave is up shit creek...
