If the early rumours of Rudoni, Dolan and McCallum are true then its a great start. All have good Championship experience and McCallum is the oldest at 23!

Not sure why Luton think they will have a chance tbh. They’re going to be in the championship and I’m sure Sheaf will only be interested in moving if it’s to the Prem

No way he will move to Luton especially if they get relegated.

McCallum hasn’t impressed at Norwich since his transfer.

He has been loaned out to QPR where he made just 17 appearances and was mainly on the bench for Norwich this season until their first choice left back was ruled out for the season.

Im not sure why a second choice left back for QPR or Norwich is an upgrade on Bidwell. I liked him when he was with us but ….:

He’s 23, strong defensively and has actually been pretty good for Norwich this season. They’ve offered him a new contract which he hasn’t accepted.

Tend to agree from what I’ve seen. As a 2nd choice LB yes, but a bit meh for me.

Seems Wagner rates him and wants him to sign a new contract.

He’s only 23 and experienced at this level. It would be a decent signing.

Much better than JDS.

Reckon this gets done?

Dont think we can compete with Norwich financially tbh, however he does have a good relationship with Robins and Viveash amd loves the club and fans

Whether or not thats enough to swerve him to take less money, who knows.

If i was to offer a probability id say 40% chance it happens

Depends what his new contract offer is at Norwich. His current contract will be very low as I believe it’s still the same one he signed as a 19 yo coming out of league 1

For me
Yeh I like Miyoshi. Tbh i wouldn't be looking at as many as people were suggesting, they were absolutely spineless so to suggest 6 or 7 of them are good enough for a team looking to go up is probably not entirely accurate.

Has to be £15m + for Sheaf. I reckon there will be quite a bit of interest in Wright & Simms. Goals are a potent commodity.

Need some creativity in midfield.

Rudoni has always impressed me when I’ve seen him but a midfield of him, Torp, Sheaf or Eccles doesn’t strike me as one that will create enough.

Watched the Peterborough game last night and Kyprianou did look a good Sheaf replacement although would need a year or two to get to the same level.

Not seen much of Dolan to know whether he’s any good but Poku looked decent last night for the RW spot if we fancy a three fold raid on boro.

Kyprianou reminds me of Sheaf in his first season here

We need a new keeper. An experienced CB, a new left back, a new 10, possibly 2 and then we’re sorted ?

I agree with that but we need at least one and probably two strikers, depending upon whether we keep Tavares.

We have been lucky that Haji Wright and Ellis Simms have largely avoided injury. We may not be so lucky next year and that is before you consider the need to rest them, loss of form or changing things if we are chasing a game.

We seem to think Boro have great players that we should be signing but they lost to Oxford who we smashed in the cup and I didn’t think any of the Boro players really impressed.

Thought they looked really good after Oxford scored just struggled with oxfords 11 behind the ball.

For me their young players look the sort we should be bringing in to challenge for starting spots next season and develop so they can step up when Wright, Simms, Sakamoto move on.

With Huddersfield and Brum relegated. Who should we cherry pick?
Lee Nicholls could he worth a shout, remember he won golden glove a couple of seasons back then suffered the same fate as Wilson to then becoming number 1 again.

10 million will be laughed at

15 or above gets him
Is there any way we go back in for Hamer?
Only asking as we know he still has a house here and spends time at the CBS added to the fact that SU have been relegated.

Year in the Championship at us or SU (yes yes, wages etc).... Or does he get another move back to the Prem.

Think the most important signings will be the older players this window. Got to say that really doesn’t excite me as a transfer list. All reasonable squad players but not going to move you up a level.
