The game should suit us in some ways. Simms and Wright both prefer the ball ahead of them rather than in to feet, and our only chances will be on the break.

A well drilled back 5 and midfield should give us a decent chance to get to 45 or 60 mins without conceding, then we just have to hope one of the forwards finishes a chance.

No Bellegarde, Neto, Hee Chan and potentially no Dawson could play into our hands, if we score 2 early (within 60) and dont concede we have a very strong chance of winning but 1 goal up with Cunha coming on its probably Wolves’ day

I think we all suspect MR will set up very defensively with 5 at the back and maybe even a lone striker. Personally I think that'd be asking for a very long and difficult game.

However, I do expect he'll play the strongest team he can, including Collins and Kitching.

Not sure I'd go with Palmer. He seems to be a player who performs against 'lesser' opposition. O'Hare hasn't been great the last few weeks either though.

Flat three of Sheaf Torp and Eccles for me. It’s gonna be two banks of three most of the game.

Faint heart never won fair maiden, and all that. I'd be disappointed to go out to these not having had a real go.
No fear football, just like the Birmingham owners demanded of Rooney - what could go wrong?

I’m looking forward to this next stage of our development, with going into this game with no fears , just hopefully showing the world that the championship has a few good teams & we are one of those.
A 4:1:4:1 formation, with our effervescent O’Hare buzzing around & making us a threat all over the pitch

We have a “real go” and we’ll get battered. They’re a counter attacking team designed to hit people quickly in the break. They lack creativity to break teams down. Like a PL us.

I think we sit back ,frustrate the fuck out of them and give Simms something to run on to (which he prefers) and we might win by boring the arse of everyone.

We go at them and we're done, but go down as gallant losers.

SIT BACK AND BE PATIENT

Might’ve already been mentioned but it’ll be a great chance for O’Hare to showcase what he can do against Prem opposition ahead of his likely move in summer. I’m certain he’ll want to perform!!!

Given Wolves injuries we have a chance. As good as they are, they have a bad performance in them, and missing a few key players means they’re a totally different side.

Fancy us!

If they have Cunha, Lemina and Nouri fit they are pretty much the same side.

Ok. Seems to be a lot of chat that Bueno and Kilman will play CB, so perhaps he’s just out of favour.

Still some big losses. Bookies have us at 4/1, could be a lot worse, championship club away to a middling PL side.
Gomes is a CM.

Hopefully we play Sheaf and Eccles. Gomes and Lemina vs Kelly could be a bloodbath.
It’s completely the wrong game for Kelly. Can’t see him getting on unless we need to park the bus for penalties in extra time.

"Ffs we haven't really covered Coventry before tomorrow, any completely random but heart-wrenching story we can throw out there?"

Few Wolves fans I’ve spoken to today don’t think Cunha will get much, if any, minutes tomorrow. And they’d rather not risk him at all.

Insightful as fuck, enit!

I think we'll get more time on the ball, as most Prem sides don't press like Championship ones, it's how we use it could be the issue. No sloppy and casual passing and a quick transition will be the key. my side;
Collins, MvE, Thomas, Kitching, Bidwell, Sheaf just in front/protecting, Torp, Eccles O'Hare, Simms, Wright.

Wolves, @oldgoldpack and Fan Volunteers would like to encourage all supporters to take their seat early on Saturday to be part of an old gold and black stadium display for our @EmiratesFACup Quarter Final against @Coventry_City

This is giving me Wasps flashbacks

Don't worry. It will start from one seat and end up in a completely different town 60 miles away.
