Look at how he's playing every week in Division 6 and if he's looking miles above the level, perhaps look more closely.
Exactly.

If he had been a non league player all his career I wouldn't give him a second thought. But the poor bloke seems to have had a lot to deal with in recent years. I can't believe the shite from some for just saying keep an eye and see how it goes.

You must be on a wind up - you obviously are
So how many of our new signings did you say were shite?

You're not on a wind up. You're just clueless and mouth off for no reason.

That said, can't think of too many recent examples of a player who had a great Cup game then earned a move to EFL level or higher off the back of it. DJ Campbell's the only one coming to mind

But on the same line how many have had reasons not to play for several years then get back into the game? It's the lowest level he has played at. But what higher up side would have given him a chance?

Look at some on here having a hissy fit for saying give him a second look. You would think I said sign him up.

Despite Maidstone's heroics at Ipswich the likelihood is they will struggle to repeat the giant killing and both us and SWFC should comfortably have enough firepower to deal with them at home.
The draw is therefore a genuine opportunity to make the quarters, maintain momentum and maximise earnings. And hey, who knows - I for one would love to ride the 87 rollercoaster again.
This should be motivation enough for Robins and the team to go hell for leather to deal with the Owls next week. Let's face it, they will be thinking exactly the same.
Expect a full strength side and a drive to put the game to bed as early as possible.

Why all the total negativity on a player i said give a second look at?

Shouldn't we ever have a second look at a player who stands out from the crowd?

Why the defensiveness when somebody (almost everybody) disagrees?

Even then you said easily championship quality based on one game. If that's true why the second look?

So we should never have another look at a player that stood out from two sides that we've never heard of before and one of those sides are above us?

Some of our recent signings play at a level below us. Maybe that's why many called them shite.

Defensiveness? Should I just ignore your replies because I don't agree with you?

Did I say he is easily Championship quality? Yet again I just said keep an eye on him.

This is getting really boring now.

Slowerthanplatt already responded for me. Enough said really. I didnt say not reply but you are claiming everyone is having a hissy cause they disagree I'm not that's the case.

One game doesn't make you championship class. You mentioned he didn't play for a number of years? I can't see that break in football for him? By the sounds of his interviews I think he quite happy out of the limelight with less pressure.

I hope full strength means we are playing Collins in goal. Wilson was decent last season but looks very nervy now and that could cost us.
