You can start negotiations with players that have under 6 months left on their contract for european based players, not including UK. You can only start negotiations with UK based players when they have less than 1 month left on their contract.

I really like it, i find it to be much more about build up play. Passing in midfield is much better.

Does anyone know if they still run the JSB training sessions in the morning of (Saturday) matchdays? And if so, do they still go to the match after?

Personally, I think its pretty good. Can't really see much wrong with it. I think that the passing system has been improved as has the dribbling.
But Thomas isn't being used as a holding midfielder. He is more of a box to box man, providing energy to the team. Fleck is the one who has been sitting in the middle, almost akin to a xabi alonso role. Not necessarily the best tackler or holding midfielder but he is there for his passing ability.
I would really like to see him do well at Arsenal. I think he will be alright and score his fair share of goals, but I can't see him becoming a prolific premier league striker (sadly!)
The added price on English players is partly down to the need of having 'home grown players' for european...
