1. We have been relegated
2. Sisu sold most of our good players
3. 2 goalies and a striker signed + 2 loanees part way thro season
4. Its been a revolving door with directors and chairmen
5. Sisu do not communicate with the fans
6. We have three players out of contract this summer (not counting Eastwood)
7. The two loanees will return to their clubs.
8. Every likelihood there will be more player sales based upon what has happened since Dann & Fox sold
9. Yet another person brought in to sort things out
10. Rent for ground way too high for League 1
11. Unless we buy about 6 players we will struggle in League 1 or possibly have back to back relegations
12. Season ticket sales mortgaged
13. Ryton mortgaged up to the hilt
14. We do not own our ground
Can someone put a positive spin on things please

I have an Idea
We hear comments of liquidation, bullshit statements from fisher etc!
If we are going to stand any chance of coming straight back up from division 3 then Sisu need to be planning now. Nothing is happening other than patronising statements?
The takeover is not happening as a division 3 team not owning their ground is not a good investment.
As a result I suspect we may be having these discussions when the season is about to start.
So why dont we form Afc Coventry with Hoffman and Elliott setting it up as they certainly have the business experience.
The club could follow the German and Afc Wimbledon model whereby the fans will always own 51% of the club so that we do not allow these people to come in and leave us in the sh1t when there is not the instant success. I for one would go and support them, and I guess a lot of other fans would.
We could play at Nuneaton or the Butts and put 2 fingers up to the Ricoh.
So come on Joe and Gary how about it?

15 games to play, 28 pts needed =

Lose to Forest
32 games played, 22 pts
14 games to play 28 pts needed=

9 w, 1 d, 4 l or
8 w, 4 d, 2 l
7 w, 7 d, no l!

This does not make for good reading! If the number of pts needed for safety is less then the situation improves slightly or we actually win these two games. The teams just above the relegation zone have 30 pts with games in hand and so 20 pts from 17 games for these teams may not be too difficult!
Lets be realistic there is no chance when we have lost 18 games out of the last 30! Time to plan for League 1.
