Thought I would come down and get tickets. The queue is the length of the car park all the way back to dreams.

my mate is ordering online - given the historic problems with the ticket office I am genuinely worried whether tickets will arrive in time!

You are not wrong. But for those who want to go to the shop it is still ok to go in if you ask. I reckon 350-400 in queue at 10:30.

I'm doing it online.

Steve Waggot there.

Last seasons away shirts £5. The atmosphere in the shop/ ticket sales points is a bit like when City were selling 1987 tickets. Smiles. Some were still negative. I get all of that but we have SISU at the moment so all things considered the fans are showing real commitment. Proud to have been a stay away fan. Proud to be city.

I'm planning on going to the match, I'm not going to queue for hours though. If I can't get the tickets online I'll head down Monday/Tuesday when hopefully the histeria has died down a bit.

Not sure what the guy in telegraph thought he was gaining by getting there at 3am. That's guaranteeing yourself a 6 and a half hour wait. Turn up now and I bet it's only a couple of hours.

That's over 2 hours of sales now plus the ST holders. Be good if someone buying over the counter can get approximate numbers of tickets sold so the rest of us can work out when we should join the melee ?!

4 blocks for Gillingham on a Friday night, live on SKY ?? I can see at least block 9 turned over to home fans.

They said there's a separate queue for season ticket transfers and sales. Can anyone tell me how long this queue is?

So, 4 hours in, someone must have an inkling as to the rate of sales per hour ? I was thinking that Doris and Mabel might be able to knock out 250 each per hour over the counter and the same for the lad on the phone. Not sure about the online site but guessing 500 per hour. So I'm thinking perhaps 2000 ST's sold + 5000 other tickets to this point ??

Thinking back to when tickets have been on general sale i'd day they'd have sold 6k at the shop in that time.

Who knows how many online and however many STs sold. I reckon over 10k by now

CET say the club had sold 2000 ST's and 3300 tickets by midday so you are probably in the right territory.

Don't think they can go past block 9 for home tickets. There is a wall underneath for segregation.

They did for Crewe as I was the wrong side of said wall and couldn't get round to the Tesco Stand.

Crewe game is the benchmark for the maximum amount of home fans with safe segregation.

That is unless PC pleb gets involved, in which case the Ricoh becomes the only ground in the country that needs 20 blocks segregation.
