What legal action can be taken against that Guardian article? It's an opinion piece with little in the way of questionable allegation.

I can see why the Trust would take it down due to having less legal muscle than a national news outlet, but if they kept it up it'd just mean Sisu would lose two cases/empty threats.

What a joke Sisu is. As if they haven't destroyed enough of our fanbase already they resort to threatening legal action against people who care most about the club. Our owners are a joke and an embarrassment to the footballing world. Sooner you get back to corporate businesses and get the fcuk out of our club the better

I do hope He now follows this up with a Leeds Style Inside Out ,possibly now we know why the CT and CWR fawn to their agenda.

Lets just suppose they successfully take legal action against the Guardian, how can they take legal action against the SBT?

As long as they fully credit the article to the Guardian they haven't got a leg to stand on.

Sisu bullies yet some morons still have sympathy.

Any normal set of fans would want nothing to do with these bullying bastards, yet we still have some that stick up for them, give them money, believe their every word.

Its beyond me how a city as tough as Coventry has bred so many bloody wets!

Did the Trust site copy and paste the article or just have a link? Neither assume ownership anyway, it's a mad threat.

Well done David Conn sports Journalist of the Year, the truth hurts The Clubs owners, and the SBT also need a big thank you for exposing they have been hit with another SISU dirty cowardly hiding behind lawyers trick.

To be fair to Clive Eakin he did press ML on tonight's programme.

What was said?

I don't listen anymore, Linnell and Sisu fan of the week tend to get on my nerves.

From the SCG minutes:

"Tim responded to an article which appeared on the CoventryCity-Mad website and stated for the record that ‘there will be no suing of fans’ as alluded to in that article."

Factually correct, I suppose, in that the threat of litigation was sufficient.

ML was pedalling the "no offer has been made directly to the club" line. CL said, so you're saying no offer has been made?, forcing ML to admit that an offer had been received via the FL.

He also pressed ML on costs at Sixfields v the offer for the Ricoh, which ML declined to answer.

He also pushed ML on why SISU couldn't agree a short term deal at the Ricoh while they built the new stadium - the answer appeared to be that they believed their business would be at risk if ACL were their landlords.........

On the one hand TF said in the SCG meeting "we won't sue fans" or the other he says we might..

What was it ACL said in their August statement about threats of legal action.

ACL Statement said:
Ms Seppala also stated at this meeting her intention to continue to threaten ACL and its shareholders with expensive litigation at every possible opportunity. Perhaps the fact that Mr Fisher was not himself present at this meeting has distorted his view of what was really discussed.

Seems like it's not just ACL and it's shareholders who are in the firing line.

SISU are an absolute disgrace and most of us know that. I just hope that this latest revelation makes those that go to Sixfields to think again- it must be the first time in history that a club has threatened to sue its own fans.

Could this result in an attack on a charity, for the good of her "investors", but I'm sure its OK,

PS She is a devout christian.. I'm not sure myself what that means, can someone explain?

SISU have a Standing Order with their Lawyers, and Joy has made them very wealthy. Timmy and Labo are now feeding the machine and the Lawyers go on rubbing their hands

?

Basically she spends 1 hour a week in church, and then is a total bitch the rest of the time.

If I was the Priest I would double check the collection plate after its been past her as well.

The most disappointing thing for me is that the trust were weak enough to bow to these losers and remove the article.

Imagine the publicity if SISU actually took the fans to court. Even the Football league could not support that! Or could they?

They hardly have the money to fight SISU, so don't be silly. They had to take it down.
