Football doesn’t work like that, if we are daft enough to throw in a load of kids who haven’t played in the limelight and in front of a big crowd , against a team who will know how to rough them up and bully them then this could end in tears. I’ve seen it all before .
Exactly - people don't seem to realise that this is essentially our biggest game of the season so far. We've not been in the quarter finals for what, 15 years?

Absolutely - and I'm not saying Chuck in loads to start . However we have to manage the game, and can’t afford to play fully strength team.

There should be scope to start 1 of them at least to help manage load.

I’ve not seen enough of the lads - will leave that up to robins to make call on whether good enough.

The point is more we have a far more important game next Friday - and everything should be managed with that as focus.

West Brom away is not more important than a potential FA Cup quarter final FFS

Everyone will have their own view.

Personally not fussed about fa cup. Challenging and making playoffs more important to me.

Both can be valid!

Is there a handicap price for 6 goal head start for Maidstone. Would expect to exceed that

Wouldn’t mind seeing Dasilva at LW against Maidstone, as he hasn’t played a ton of football this year and LB is one of the easiest positions for us to rotate in the subsequent games.
Fair shout forgot about JDs - yep would play him wide left

Don't get it at all. We could be 3 wins away from an actual major title.

WBA game won't decide the playoff race. Maidstone WILL decide our FA Cup progression.

Respect your view.

We will beat Maidstone, even with much rotated team- we won’t win fa cup

WBA - the springboard that could give us huge - high % chance of us winning playoffs than fa cup.

I think Robbings should name his team now, atleast people can decide if it's worth attending.

I think we'll go for a strong starting eleven, good opportunity to get the GD up in the league.

Beating WBA would be huge but it doesn’t increase the % of us making the playoffs that much. There’s still 33 points to play for after that match so we can’t rest on our laurels.

Most of our away games are winnable after WBA - with Southampton being an exception. At home, we’ve lost one game and the teams around us have to travel up to us.

Overall, a lot of reasons to optimistic.

Totally - we are arguing over split hairs! Its great time, given all the years of hardship.

Guess we've all got differing view on best way to approach - all good debate and valid points both sides.

That XI should win the game. If Andrews is left footed, swap him and Tavares and have them both cutting in on to their stronger foot. Pack the bench with Wright, Simms, Sakamoto, O'Hare, MvE, Da Silva.

Fuck that... strongest 11 to win the 1st half comfortably and then the stiffs for 2nd half

Wtf!!!!

Are you seriously thinking we are putting out our strongest 11, and are you honestly suggesting Maidstone players won't play like their lives depend on it?
Did their result at Ipswich not show what they are capable of?
And they've had a full week to prepare.

Do you even remember Sutton utd?
Clearly you have absolutely no notion of cup football.

Mate… Robins won’t put out some youth player filled second string side. Most of the starting lineup will be first team regulars and we WILL be putting at least 6-7 past them.

Mark my words.

Hope your right, but Let's see if this gets bumped on Monday at 10pm.

I do think we will win, but I think they'll be a tougher nut to crack than some people think.

I'm going 2-0 City.

I'm posting this as someone that's got a ticket, and wants a big quarter final after. I've picked a strong back five and with three CMs missing, probably the only possible pairing left in the middle.

If MR goes stronger, I'll be happy, but I want us to beat PNE and have enough left in the tank for go to WBA and get something. Resting the first choice front four gives us a better shot at doing that.

We could almost play this game in reverse if we wanted too. We put 3 past Oxford within the first 20 mins. I really wouldn't be surprised if we're 5-0 up and make 5 changes 25 mins into the game.

5-0 is perhaps optimistic but it's definitely the right way to go about it. Start a strong team, can always take players off.

Talk like that is just asking for an upset.

Do you not know the history of the club when it comes to playing the underdog. 🤔

We had this last year on here. I remember one person said we could win with seven players.

Just hope Robins takes the match seriously this year as it would be disastrous to lose out on a quarter final.

Vast majority of our squad weren't even a thought to their parents when we played Sutton.

King wants to progress in this competition, so there won't be any complacency creeping in.

I'm saying put out our strongest 11. Do a proper professional job on them and kill the game off early. Experienced championship defences can't keep up with our forward line when we're at it.

Mark Robins is taking it seriously, barring injury's, Doug King wants a cup run. 🤑

No winner from outside rhe top flight for over 40 years ..

It's not happening , a trip to Wembley for a semi final would be fantastic , but even that is a huge ask as I'd imagine we will play premier league opposition in the quarters

Blocks 14,15 Sold Out. 16 down to 1 single seat. 17 and 18 will now follow suit. Folk ought to buy soon to get near the main atmosphere !
I'd guarantee that block 14 and 15 aren't sold out but more like they've not released any remaining tickets in those blocks. Did it against Sheff Wed as plenty of empty seats and space unlike league games....even night league games

Our league rivals have won again tonight, promotion through the play offs is a big ask… a win on Monday and an FAcup quarter final victory is a much more realistic route to fame and riches this year 🤷‍♂️
