I hope his dog is okay
Always liked the dog and trust will not end up with Prince Andrew.
ps. Dave Boddy is a good guy and really hopes he stays with the club.

Does anyone have the clip of when Fisher predicted the number of fans who would follow us to Sixfields? Maybe at a fans forum or something - he got openly laughed at and it was one of the most petty, brutal
I was there that night, amongst many others I told him Coventry was full of atubborn buggers and we wouldnt attend just to prove him wrong ( let alone the plethora of other reasons as to why we wouldnt go)

The fact he has resigned a business word for sacked premier within hours of the King takeover being confirmed says everything, did he expect it not sure, he was at the games so I wonder.
Who will replace him ?

some horrible comments here, people need more respect. RIP Timmy
Respect is earned. Sorry quite liked Tim but he was a lying bastard, funny but we called each other the same name whenever we met dont know why he thought I was a wanker! 🤣🤣

Met Fisher a handful of times - He was always quite approachable face to face, of course he was spouting the usual lines but he didn’t shy away from speaking to supporters when approached

He was never ever going to get people on side however as in the media he was nothing short of a disaster (Saying we would sell out Sixfields, Joy should have a statue outside the CBS etc.) - Since Boddy come in I couldn’t actually tell you what his role was which speaks volumes

There were three phases of Fisher.

First, the bull in a China shop who stopped paying the rent, slammed the keys down on the reception desk and said we'd return to the Ricoh over his dead body.

Second, the emollient figure who reached out to fans after the Ricoh return and tried to pour oil on troubled waters.

Third, the invisible man who was registered as a director but who was
never seen or heard.

Shame we had too much of the first and second, not enough of the third. Anyone who says "he left the club in a better state than he found it" presumably thinks that our sojourn in Northampton was worthwhile. It was his idea and left the field open for Wasps. A more intelligent negotiation could have seen us buy back our preferential share option.

No personal disrespect to the man: his personal life got airings on here and was never fair game. He was courteous and respectful when I met him. But his cowboy antics as chairman dragged our club's good name through the mud. The booing that he got at Wembley in 2017 was entirely fair.

Remember the one where the fan accosted him at the train station after a match?
With what was going on at the time and the ill feeling towards the owners he should have known better to put himself in that position.

He’s still director of Sky Blue Sports and Leisure which I assume will hold the minority ownership stake on behalf of SISU.

He did leave the club in a better than he found it, that’s undeniable. Presumably you think we’d better off paying £1.2M a year in rent again, or whatever it was?

Fisher agreed a deal for our share of the Ricoh - it was Seppala who put the kibosh on that, much as she knocked back the Wasps rental deal before we went to Birmingham.

Remember, after all, this post (repasted because of the colour scheme of the original!). 'Joy is bonkers'.

Tim

Rather than saying things publicly and privately about me that are not true, why don't we meet face to face and discuss matters.

It wasn't long ago you were encouraging me to find investors and meeting regularly because you said "Joy is bonkers". You thought I was mad to try though. Maybe you were right on that!

For the record, I have never taken a penny from the football club, never intend to and have never put forward a proposal that would make me money. Rather I have invested time, money and plenty of family emotion in trying to do the right thing for the club. You have tried to sully my name but that is irrelevant in the context of where CCFC finds itself.

Also the KCIC offer is not my initiative. I have only spoken to Michael Orton once at his request. Like many others I have said I will help. Who wouldn't? All Coventry fans want Coventry back home. And if there is no cost to SISU and no financial risk for SISU - only upside - then why wouldn't you talk to them?

That said the best way forward is for the principals - SISU and ACL - to sit down and do a short term deal on costs and revenues. Then neither KCIC, me nor anyone else will be needed. We will just watch football in our home town.

I realise this week must have been difficult for you to come to terms with. You have been so wrong and been guided badly. But we all need to put the past and personal feelings to oneside and do the right thing on occasions. Your interview this morning gave mixed messages on that.

Would you like to meet?

Gary

In block 14 hopefully.
I sat in there for the Wrexham game because my daughter nags me that it's 'boring' where we are. I've never been near so many angry people and the vitriol spewed out at the end aimed at players who had only contributed positively, simply because we'd lost was embarrassing. Back to the prawn sandwich lot in future.

The credit for the improvement lies with Boddy, Waggott and Joy. And read my post ... We could have improved our rental terms without a year in Northampton.
