I put the Dahmer thing on but just got really bored.
I watched the first two but like you wasn’t really into it so have knocked it on the head.

Just started We Own this City, mainly based on recommendations from here and the fact it’s done by the same guy from The Wire.

I need to stick with it, because I watched the first episode and didn't laugh once. And I do like her

I’d think of it more as an inside number 9 style not necessarily hilarious but some funny moments with a few plot twists

Not a massive TV watcher, but that one with with David Tenant and Stanley Tucci, although completely unbelievable, is shaping up well, especially for the performance from Atkins Estimond.

Also enjoyed Karen Pirie last night on catchup.

Haven't times changed?

I remember legging it home on Monday night after an evening of gallivanting in the 80's to make sure I didn't miss The Prisoner re-run on channel 4 at 9.00PM.

No such worries these days.

Ha. I remember legging it home from Sunday school every week to watch Batman with Adam West and Burt Ward.

Ummm, they were in it, they didn't leg it with me to watch it, just for clarification.

Watching the new Quantum Leap, loved the original so much i brought them all on video tape.
I've watched them again several times.

The new version is so crap, just not right they are allowed to use the same name.
As bad as bad can be, i always wanted a remake but not this shit.

I enjoyed the second episode much more. Will continue with it.
Not sure exactly where it’s filmed ( guessing Bristol) but I think it looks a lovely village

No, still enjoying it. Just slightly predicable though. The turn of the green Queen and the behind the back plotting etc.

I haven’t watched the most recent one yet, but overall I’m not hugely impressed. It’s clearly inferior to GOT which I am also watching again. 6/10 so far.

I don’t know if you’ve read the subject material it’s based on, but it’s going to ramp up to 11 at some point…. Just wondering how long it will take as it’s very much in scene setting mode currently.

It’s whether they drag the setting up out for the whole season… I’m hoping we see some of the action before the end of S1.

I'm really enjoying it so far. Feels like the earlier Game of Thrones seasons where it's more focused on the political intrigue and scheming.

Also much better than the Rings of Power imo, which I've found very average up to now

Got bored of Rings of Power, haven’t tried GoT due to the reviews I’ve seen online.

Watched Do Revenge on Netflix last night. Pretty good. Expected standard teen revenge flick and it is in many ways but some clever twists and really good actors as well. Really fun.

Also started Only Murders In The Building on D+, only watched the first two episodes but looking good. Again good cast and a nice production style and already lots of intrigue.

Yeah I've been watching Rings of Power too...quite slow and lacking action for me. After the heights of the film they needed to deliver big if they were going to do a series but it's disappointing.

Its really pretty, and the set pieces like the monsters are great, there’s just nothing else. The dialogue is terrible and the plot is dull.

Love Only Murders. Mainly just smile through the whole thing, but there are some laugh out moments too.

It's just good old-fashioned fare.

Got as far as episode 4 of Rings of Power before giving up. There's not much happening and some of the acting is shocking.

Only Murders is great, well season one was, haven't got round to season two yet.
