How lucky? they are a set piece team doing nothing at all.

Weve not needed to play we’ve just sat back and still look more dangerous than them

Allen great half
What game are you watching? They have been the better side

The commentator/comedian on SKY is quite random...that Jimmy Hill pun made me snigger

We only seem to get on the front foot when Allen's on the ball.
Need to up it 2nd half. Be criminal to drop points to these they're nothing special.

No, I don't think we are lucky.

For me, only Kelly has disappointed so far.
Yep he slows it down but it’s a day for moving things quickly.
Need to give Allen some ball and he’ll win this for us

Ref has given Sunderland a licence to get away with being dirty. They've out fouled us consistently and yet we were the only booked team.

I can see why Sunderland grind out results. Dirty, contrived stuff.

You are absolutely mad if you don’t think the ref has been inconsistent and extremely lenient this game

Honestly mate I don't think you understand the game. He gets on the ball cos he picks up pockets of space, he's been the key to all of our good attacks including the goal.
He’s constantly lost possession when he’s had it,the ball is not sticking and constantly
Coming back won’t be long
Till they score

Course 1-0 down bound to get some ball. They’ve done nothing bar dive for free kicks and they look fab from set pieces
He’s gotta point mate it’s been all one way traffic since the goal we’re lucky to be ahead

I like lenient. Remknds me of footy when i was a kid

Foul on mcallum shid be a yellow but there is nothing the ref done that ruining game imo

They're a dark arts outfit not surprisingly for a Parkinson team .

I wonder why Sunderland score so few in 2nd half? Maybe a fitness thing, in which case I reckon last 20 mins we should go for the kill

Walsh has been a little bit careless in possession today so expect more from him second half

Sky could not be more biased to Sunderland if they were all there in red and white talking like Aldi brand geordies.
Saying they’ve been great and unlucky?? They can crow all they like we only want the points not platitudes

Really? It's the inconsistency. Marosi booking is a perfect example.
I get that but a yellow to keeper prob wont end up costing us(famous last words)

Just dnt think its anything that we shud be concerned about. Currently anyway

If his arm is outstretched and a funny angle stopping the ball it is.

I couldn't really see from here so would need to see the replay
It was outstretched unnatural position and a slight motion upwards just before it hits.

Sounds like some people would rather we were a functional team that did nothing special. Our flair players may lose the ball more often but they produce the moments of magic that have won us so many games.

How do we look on tele? Bit nervy here. Could do with another goal.

In one hours time we will be either first, second or third.
