after a worse start than the much maligned Russell Slade there appears to be a reluctance to get
The knives out, no Robins out thread after no points and no goals in three games.
Managers have ruined this once proud family club, in fact four of em this season alone have played
Their part in bringing us down, I say sack him now 'and give the old five new meaning.
Next season we can really go for it , six, seven, eight who knows how many managers we can get
Through, if we just keep blaming the obvious, the king is dead "long live the king" well not to long.

This club is beyond ridiculous, I'm definitely not glad my Dad is dead, but I'm definitely glad he isn't
Here to witness this shit, how is this allowed to happen to our club.

Different managers different styles, the results may not be that much different, but there is a difference, give it time.

Four of them, wtf, come on, Venus and Robins cant be blamed surely, Venus got dropped in the shit and gave it a go albeit unsuccessfully and Robins is making a difference, that can be seen on the pitch, give it\him time.

Just like this season, nothing like flogging a dead horse, so who else you gonna blame? Doh! We know they dont care and arnt going to make any kind of effort or investment, yep just keep calling out the managers, cause obviously theres nothing and no-one else to blame but Richardson and Mcginnity, ooops i mean SISU, hey shit owners for 20 years, thats all the managers fault.

Got quite a few familly members myself who im glad arnt around to witness this shite, your not alone there.

The guy has been here for three games. Did you expect him to solve the puzzle that quickly? Give him this time, next season starts here and measure the progress in August.
No but I expected a little bit of a new manager bounce. Just a goal at least. Something, anything!
I also expected that by now he'd of realised burge and Tudgay are both awful and need dropping!

Not a lot of new manager bounce, 1st 2 were defeats, 3 defeats 2 wins 1 draw first 6 from when he was announced.

A new manager bounce only really ever occurs when a team has the innate ability to win but due to poor tactics, manager losing the dressing room, lack of confidence etc. results have been poor. You can't expect a new manager bounce when the players' abilities are below the standard required for that league unless luck plays a major part

You're missing my point, you could put "Keith Harris" and "Orville" in charge of this joke, why
Does anyone believe the manager makes even the slightest difference.

This whole Fucking thread was started out in a completely sarcastic manner, would never
Blame any manager here, this club is going to die, and there won't be a manager in the
Land remotely to blame.

Yep, bad news is we are going to die.

Good news is though of course, Sunderland fans will finally, finally, finally see a great historic injustice righted and will finally, finally, finally get their just rewards. BBC have a six part documentary series ready and lined up.

Major historic event. War of the Roses, Roundheads vs Cavaliers, World Wars I and II, Fall of the Berlin Wall, Coventry cheating.

Another 100 years and I understand the Sunderland fans will finally forgive the Normans for their Invasion, then 200 years, the Romans and some time in the next century, ultimately the Germans too. Yes, even the Germans, only second to those utter, utter barstards of the city of Coventry.

I was saying that the blame will be directed at Robins eventually.

When Slade took over we weren't 40 points adrift at the bottom. All Robins can do until the summer is damage limitation.

yup THIS. 1pt from safety compared to 14 is huge for the new manager coming in. if only we had got robins in january.

Don't despair, I got the tone right away, since I'm a sarcastic sod myself.

Personally, I think Oggy's blank clipboard could be a decent choice for our next manager. Sack Robins, naturally, it's all his fault anyway, from 4 years ago. Plus he hasn't aged a day since then, very dubious...

I think for me MR has at least identified that there are fundamental issues with the players rather than the tripe that Slade and Venus used to come out with. We all know there are major issues with the player quality (and morale) but the manager can only do so much. Its over to our owners to give MR the support he needs next season or we are back in the shit.

Personally feel better with MR in charge next year than RS, either way we are fooked this year but I have come to terms with that some months ago

I've pretty much written this season off, all we can really expect from Robins is to not take any shit from the "players" we currently have and get them all out of the door.

agree, I think he needs to start identifying who needs to leave and who is staying now and plan accordingly. Bomb squad v2...

Looking at the fixtures and table, it's looking increasingly likely that our relegation will be confirmed the night we play Sheff Utd away.

How humiliating.

Jokes aside, if there is actually another must win this season other than Wembley, it is the game at Sheff Utd. Even to delay inevitable relegation by one week to avoid it being at the hands of them is worth something.
Beat Sheff Utd?!?!

Think there's a slight, uh, 'gulf' between us and them, mate. A 52 point 'gulf'.

Maybe Fleck might take pity on us and hoof one into his own net as an apologetic offering, but that won't stop them blasting 7 or 8 past a flapping Burge up the other end.

No, obviously I know we are going to lose.

The point I was trying to make was that if we are to win another game in the next 10 years, this would be a nice one to conquer.

Relegation at the hands of Sheff Utd will be ridiculously humiliating.

Ffs this post is embarrasing. How many more managers you going to blame for having to work with peanuts. Theres only one reason why the club is in this state and thats not just sisu although they must take most of the blame but the owners before them such as richardson, macginty etc who fleaced our club
