Give Ruben a chance to build on his goal, and keep others in the team that have been playing well. Something like the above at least would be alright with me.

Me +1 going to this one.

Looking forward to it, a six pointer and looks like we are starting to get somewhere under Slade so will look forward to his approach to the game.

2-0 Cov :)

Tudgay ( cant believe im saying that) Beavon

best team for me at the mo although Reilley, Haynes and G Thomas all have cases for a place after the last 2 games. Foley will prob start too! We need a striker though in this window urgently

The problem for me is those two wingers. They have almost no end product on their own, and with two of them it'll be a frustrating 90 minutes where we should be winning 3-0, but are only 1-0 up, and then get punished for not killing off the game by conceding in the last minute.

Thomas should start with Beavon. That should be our number one strike partnership from now on, until we sign another striker, which I hope we will.
Tudgay should be reserved for the last 15-30 minutes of games.
We do need another striker.

I'd expect Slade to pretty much play the same team that played against Bolton but Foley in for Sterry.

1st team to score will win it! Confidence is so low between the two sides.

Reid Thomas Lamerias
Beavon

That or Thomas right, Reid left and Tudgay in for Lamerias.

That defence is looking a lot better.

Cannot see why Slade will not go 4-4-2 again tbh and I think he likes Beavon and Tudguy as front 2.

I think unless Willis is still unfit Turnbull could be on the bench maybe,,,actually stike that think he'll probably
move Turnbull to LB think may be a bit too soon to start Stokes? Not used to having defensive options.

Burge GK
Foley RB
Clarke CB
Willis CB
Turnbull LB
Reid LM
G.Thomas RM
Reilly CM
Rose CM
Tudguy ST
Beavon ST

Subs: RCC, Haynes, Stokes, Bigi, Stevenson, Jones, Lameiras

Quite strong 18 actually I am going for a 2-1 win to City

Is it me being cynical thinking Chesterfield wouldn't mind this game being called off tomorrow?

With snow forecast it might be possible too, though just looking at the forecast now it doesn't quite look so bad.

Starting to feel like I support a football team again - I hope we fucking hammer them and kickstart this god awful season.

0-4 City: Beavon, Thomas x 2 and one of Reid's crosses to accidently go in.

Would be happy with that. not sure if Stokes will be fit enough and would go with the Tudgay option or even put Rose in.

Should be OK to go ahead I would have thought. Have they got a history of postponements for frozen pitches? Think that would be the biggest issue.
