What are your best memories of the Moroccan wizard? I know my worst, when he signed for the scum down the road :mad:

Hadji was never used to his full potential at CCFC. I think this was partly because he was in the same team as Gary McAllister and playing a similar role. The biggest disapointment was that when McAllister went, then manager Gordon Strachan played just about every other player in the centre of midfield and never gave Hadji a chance in his best position. Bizarre management indeed which in no small way lead to our relegation.

As a 19 year old CCFC fan my earliest memories are of the Strachan era when I had a season ticket at HR. I remember when we signed Hadji and Chippo everyone was wearing the Moroccon hats to games.. My cousin also had 2 budgies which he named Hadji and Chippo...

I liked Safri as well, he scored a fair few peaches in his time too.

I remember Hadji's debut 1st game of season against Southampton,we lost and he was awful.Hukerby left,Keane joined and he was ace from then on.
