I've been trying to find the line-ups for Coventry's glorious UEFA Cup run in 1970, does anyone know a source for this info?
For the uninitiated the Sky Blues qualified for the Fairs Cup (the fore-runner of the UEFA Cup) by finishing 6th in the league and taking Derby's place when Derby were banned from competing.
Coventry beat Trakia Plovdiv of Bulgaria 4-1 away and 2-0 at home then lost out to some team called Bayern Munich, losing 6-1 away before winning 2-1 at Highfield Rd.

Bit of a late reply. The team for home game v Trakia was Glazier, Coop, Smith, Machin, Blockley, Strong, Hunt, Carr, Martin, O'Rourke, Clements.
It changed a little for return.
Glazier, Coop, Bruck, Clements, Blockley, Strong, Hunt, Carr, Joicey (Rafferty sub), O'Rourke, Alderson.
Against Bayern - McManus, Coop, Cattlin, Machin, Blockley, Strong, Hunt, Carr, Martin, O'Rourke, Clements.
For the return - Glazier, Coop, Smith, Mortimer, Blockley, Hill, Hunt (Joicey sub), Carr, Martin, O'Rourke, Clements.
Hope this helps. It seemed odd to see Beckenbauer & co at Highfield Road.
I wish I was alive to have seen that! Although we did get Lampard and Drogba at the Ricoh which isn't as good :(

Nick, Drogba, Lampard. Oh they're not so bad. We should have played in Europe in 1987 of course, but the events in the Heysel stadium put paid to that. Rough on City.
That Euro team of City's doesn't look so bad from here. Top players like Mortimer, Carr, Neil Martin, Ernie Hunt. Players that were with the club for years, Mick Coop, Ernie Machin, Dave Clements, the top goalie Bill Glazier.
