Tried to reply, Nick, but I get a "precondition failed" message everytime I click "submit".

I have figured it out! It is when you press quote or use bbcode!

I think it is a problem with the server so will email the hosts and try and sort it out!

Yeah, I've used them for years and the first few versions were free. I think I paid around $59 for the software plus a year's support, that was a couple of years back now. Very stable. I just can't be arsed to make it look good like you have.

If you need a hand just let me know, it is only a few minutes work once you have all of the files and stuff

If not there are many themes you can hack apart!
